My views on Generation Gap

Nowadays, the problem of generation gap is always around our life. It’s exists

everywhere and become more and more serious. There is no doubt that parents and

teenagers always have opposite opinions in many ways. There is often a lack of

understanding between them. For example, teenagers like listening to rock music but

their parents can’t stand it, they think it’s a horrible stuff. And teenagers prefer to

wearing some jeans with broken hole, they think it’s pretty cool, but parents believe

it’s crazy. Parents dislike what their children think and do, while children often

complain that their parents cannot understand them. So, the relationship between

teenagers and their parents become worse and worse.

There are various of reasons for the problem of generation gap. First, people of

different ages have different experiences, different life. Thus, they have different ideas

in the same thing. Second, parents always don’t believe teenagers can do things by

themselves and teenagers also don’t want to their parents disturb their own life.

Furthermore, young people and their parents usually fail in their attempts to

communicate with each other. They have little time to talk with each other

face-to-face.

Therefore, to find new ways to save relationship between young people and their

parents is an urgent task. To solve this problem, not only should we spare our time to

chat with each other, but also we should trust and respect each other. Only through

these measures can we close the gap and set up the bridge between us. I believe, as

long as we make progress together, the generation gap is not a gap.

The Gap Between Generations

Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I

want to talk to you about the differences between kids like me

and grown-ups like my parents and grandparents. It's crazy how

much things have changed over the years!

Let's start with technology. We kids are like little tech
