Gentlemen
1. Inaccordance with the Conditions of Contract, Specification, Drawings, and Bill of Quantities and Addenda Nos.*(Addenda to Specification) for the execution of the above-named Works we, the undersigned, offer to construct and install such Works and remedy any defects therein in conformity with the Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Quantities, and Addenda for the sum of UGSH**113,796,721,730 (Uda Shillings one hundred and thirteen billion ,seven hundred and ninety-six million ,seven hundred and twenty-one thousand and seven hundred and thirty.)
2. We acknowledge that the Appendix forms part of our Bid. 3. We undertake, if our Bid is accepted, to commence the Works as soon as is reasonably possible after the receipt of the Engineer’s notice to commence, and to complete the whole of the Works comprised in the Contract within the time stated in the Appendix to Bid. We agree to abide by this Bid until***17th,January 2001, and it shall remain binding upon us and may be accepted at any time before that date.
4. Unless and until a formal Agreement is prepared and executed this Bid, together with your written acceptance thereof, shall constitute a binding Contract between us.
5. We understand that you are not bound to accept the lowest or any bid you may receive. 6. Commissions or gratuities, if any, paid or to be paid by us to agents relating to this Bid, and to contract execution if we are awarded the contract, are listed below:

5.1(a) The language is English. 5.1(b) The law in force is that of the Republic of Uda. Performance Security 10.1 Performance Security will be in the form of a bank guarantee in the amount of 10 percent of the Contract Price. Inspection of Site 11.2 Data made available by the Employer under Sub-Clause 11.1 is open for inspection at the Ministry of Works, Housing and Communications Headquarters, Entebbe. Cash Flow Estimate 14.3 28 days. Country of the Employer 16.4 The country of the Employer is the Republic of Uda. Minimum Amount of Third Party Insurance 23.2 The least of the following: - 5% of the Contract Price - the equivalent of US$ 1,000,000 per occurrence, with the number of occurrences unlimited. Time for Issue of the Notice to Commence 41.1 56 days.
Time for Completion 43.1 900 days. Amount of Liquidated Damages 47.1 0.05% of Contract Price, per day.
Limit of Liquidated Damages 47.1 10% of the final Contract Price. Taking Over of Sections 48.2(a) 20 Km minimum.
