1. more than 超过

（1）more than +名词，表示“不仅仅是”。如Jason is more than a teacher,

（3）more than +形容词，表示“很，非常”。如I’m more than glad to

help you.

（4）more than +（that）从句，表示“超过”，可译成“难以，完全不能”。如That is more than I can understand.

【学生分析】

学生在第一单元已经对中国的长城有了一定的了解，并且部分学生在平时都已经去参观过中国的一些知名建筑物，因此在本课中让学生对自己已知的一些建筑物进行描述，不仅可巩固拓展他们的语言。而且

锻炼他们语言的组织能力，教学应尽量采取激励的方式来激发他们的发言勇气，树立他们的自信，从而使他们英语语言成为一种习得。

【设计理念】
