异化和网络互连网为人们自由的交流思想提供了一个极好的平台。
在访问和使用方面相对较少的管制，使得网络交流如同行驶在公海上一般。
我个人深信在思想全球化的带动下，人们的潜能将得到很好的发挥。
早在互连网广泛传播使用前几年，我就宣扬这个立场。
现在令我从心底高兴的是互连网极大的改变着全社会，让其越来越好。
然而互连网可能存在的消极影响也让我很担心。
人们大量的谈论着新信息时代，但是却疏于报导有关互连网因为疏远了每个人之间的距离而导致的进一步的社会分裂。
起初这听起来显然有些矛盾：一方面加强思想的自由交流促进了全球一体化，可这又怎样疏远了每一个参与者呢？最近我跟我的一位朋友讨论了他所谓的“互连网问题”的话题。
当我进一步问他是怎么回事时，他说他曾沉迷于互连网中，从而不得不强迫自己离线。
在他看来这感觉就像嗜酒一样，适当的使用互连网已变得不可能。
起初我以为他说的有些夸张，然而当他描述了最近的互连网狂欢----二十四小时不间断的在线，这让我无话可说。
他说：“互连网并不是真实的世界，但我却在上面耗掉了我所有的时间，我必须得停止。
”他进一步说由于长期沉迷于网络，这已经歪曲了他对于现实的感觉，让他觉得孤独和消极。
现在分裂的社会已经让人悲伤已久。
对于我来讲，这好像要追溯到二战之后那一代人从海外完成他们伟大的使命归来。
他们赢得了战争，上帝的偏爱也让他们行将赢得和平。
拥有汽车变得平民化，越来越多的人分散到了郊区。
“进步”是他们的口号。
其实早在互连网普及之前，老百姓与他们的亲戚以及邻居之间的关系变得疏远。
但在社会快速发展的今天，人们能够并且经常可以不用离开家里，通过互连就可以结识远在地球另一端的人们，这真是让人们觉得具有极大的讽刺意味上周我们邀请远方的亲戚来家里一起庆祝女儿的生日，我的小外甥则在整个庆典上都躲进房间里玩一种战争模拟电脑游戏。
我的妹夫跟我在一旁聊着天，眼前的这一幕这我们感慨我们那一代已经过去了，像小家伙这个年纪，本应该去户外与朋友们一起玩耍，而此时，他却宁可自己一个人在电脑玩他的电脑游戏。
