【教学内容】
闽教版《小学英语》第五册Unit5 Months of the Year Part B
【学情分析】
五年级学生有一定的英语知识基础,具有较强的好奇心和求知欲,应通过身边的素材,创设真实的情景,引导学生用英语表达生日和各节日所在的月份,帮助学生保持学习英语的热情,增强学生学习英语的自信心,培养学生用英语思考的习惯。
【教材分析】
本课主要通过学习单词November, December, January, February等月份单词和句型When is … It’s in….,来引导学生谈论月份以及各月的情况。
【教学设计理念】
《英语课程标准》强调课程从学生的学习兴趣。生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。在课堂教学过程中通过游戏,歌谣和真实的教学内容激发学生参与英语课堂的兴趣,引导学生用英语进行表达和沟通,培养学生自主学习的能力。
【教学目标】 一、知识与技能目标
1、能听、说、读、写单词November, December, January, February,初步运用easy, remember等词汇
2、能听懂会用本节课句型: When is… It’s in ….
二、过程与方法
通过chant ,游戏和日常生活中的情景引导学生在实际生活中用英语谈论生日和节日等
三、情感态度与价值观
通过谈论月份,了解东西方的一些节日,拓展学生的视野,培养学生用英语表达的习惯。

4复习三月到十月: March-October
师出示月份单词,生快速反应说单词 5 Free talk

(设计意图:通过game,chant, free talk和复习旧知识,吸引学生的注意力,激发学生学习的热情,为新课教学做好铺垫。)
Step 2 Presentation
1 教授单词January February November December
句型 When is …. ? It’s in …
1) When is Yang Ming’s birthday? It’s in March.
2) When is Lily’s birthday? It’s in June.
3) When is Na Ying’s birthday? It’s in November.
(单词操练:上下大小声,one by one)
4) When is Yang Kun’s birthday? It’s in December.
(单词操练: 合并张开大小声,one by one)
找规律: September November December 总结出每个单词都包含字母ember
5) When is Qi Qin’s birthday? It’s in January.
(单词操练: Row by Row, one by one )
6) When is Zhang Ziyi’s birthday? It’s in February.
(单词操练: 正反面大小声 one by one )
找规律: January February 总结出每个单词都包含字母uary (设计意图:通过PartA人物的生日以旧引新,并结合真实人物的生日,帮助学生学习新单词,巩固所学的句型。)
7) Game:遮住单词不相同的部分请同学猜猜是哪个月份单词

8) Chant :

9) 复习月份1-12月 : 出示图片说单词
10)总结月份的缩写:Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. May Jun. Jul. Aug. Sep.
Oct. Nov. Dec.
(通过观察总结月份缩写规律:特例May 其他取前三个字母加一个实心点)
(设计意图:通过chant和游戏重现本节课的单词和句型,加深学生的记忆,帮助学生理解新知识。通过月份缩写规律总结加深学生对月份及其缩写词的记忆。)

听课文录音第一、二遍,回答问题

听课文第三、四遍,回答问题
c) When is Ma Li’s birthday?
It’s in January. (板书)
d) Is it in January 2nd (1月2日)?

2) 教授单词easy remember
句子That’s easy to remember.
T:Ma Li’s birthday is in January 2nd. That’s easy to remember.
3) Listen and follow
(设计意图:通过听课文,引导学生获取重要信息,理解课文大意。通过听音跟读课文,帮助学生深入理解课文,并培养学生正确的语音语调,提升朗读能力。)

2) Ask and answer: When is….? It’s in … 师示范,然后同桌互问互答,请个别同学展示

b) T: When is the Spring Festival?
S3: It’s in January or February.
操练:齐问句子请个别同学回答

c) 请学生用所学句型When is….? It’s in…同桌间互问三个节日所在月份, 然后请个别组合以一问一答的方式展示。
