My Life at School

Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the

5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I wanted to tell

you all about my life at school. Get ready because there's a lot to

cover!

I wake up at 6:30am every morning because school starts at

8am. I brush my teeth, get dressed in my uniform (it's a red polo

shirt and khaki pants), and head downstairs for breakfast. My

mom makes me eggs, toast, and orange juice to give me energy

for the day. Then I put on my backpack and walk the 6 blocks to

school with my neighbor Daniel. We always race the last block

and he usually wins because he's so fast!

When I get to school, I hang up my backpack and jacket on
