This unit introduces and develops the theme of “shopping”, Students are expected to master the new word sneakers and use the sentence patterns in proper situation, such as “What size?”“How much are they?””We’ll take them.”By study of this unit, the students know how to ask theprice in English and how to describe the size and price with simple words and sentences.Then I’ll talk about next part Analysis of the studentsIt is known to us that the kids are very active and like playing games very much, so during my class, I’ll design some interesting games to activate them to participate and learn something. They will also be interested in the class.Next I’ll talk about Analysis of the Teaching AimsI put forward the teaching objectives according to the New EnglishLesson Standard.1. Reception objectivea) Students can hear, read and use the main sentence patterns. “A pair of …for…”“ How much are they?”b) Students can understand and read the conversation.2. Now I’ll talk about most important part Teaching procedure It consists of 5 steps :Step 1 Lead-inI will play an English song for Students and havea free talk related to this period with them. it can attract Students? attention and make them feel satisfied.Step 2 PresentationI present the dialogue, I’ll create a real situation for Students to speak English freely. This task will arouse Students? interest and encourage them to ask questions with new knowledge.2. At this time, Play the recorder , let the students concentrate on listening, then,answer my question according to the dialogue. Students are expected to answer some questions related to the new words. In this way, new words are taught.Meanwhile, I’ll write down the sentence patternson the blackboard. Students need to practice the new words and sentences in different ways. Step 3 Practice I’ll ask the students to listen to the tape and encourage them to imitate toread and say. I’ll Guide them pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. It can train Students? abilities of listeningStep 4 ConsolidationI will classify the class into four groups and then I will read the dialogue. During my reading, I’ll misread three words on purpose.
