s=txt>随着小学英语教学的全面实施，初中起始年级的英语教学面临着更多的新的挑战。如何优化小初衔接，进一步提高教学质量就是其中之一。
依据《英语课程标准》，笔者认为，初中英语教学的目的，是在小学英语教学的基础上进一步通过听、说、读、写的训练，使学生获得英语基础知识和为交际运用英语的能力。根据学习语言的“听说领先，读写跟上”的规律，听说教学应是初中英语教学初始阶段的重要手段。
