A Special gift

2 Alan is eleven years old. And it is his first time to come to China to visit his

grandparents. Today is Sunday. It’s his eleventh birthday. He gets up early and

he wants to buy some food for his birthday party in the afternoon.

He sees a big bowl of noodles on the table when he comes out of the his bedroom.

It is a bowl of egg and tomato noodles. Alan usually eats bread for breakfast in

America. He likes egg and tomato noodles, but he wants to know why Grandma cooks

noodles this morning.

“It is your birthday today,” says Grandma. “In China, eating noodles on your

birthday means you can live longer. We call noodles changshou noodles. I hope you

live a happy and healthy life.”

“Thanks, Grandma. I think it’s the first special gift I get for my birthday,”

says Alan.

Ⅰ.教材分析The analysis of the teaching materials

3a的练习要求学生联系上下文，将零碎的句子形成一个完整的对话用方框中的单词填空，这要求学生能找到每个句中的关键词，再结合语境用正确的单词填空。3b是让学生整理所学的食物名词及价格。3c首先让学生进行对3a的句型总结，让学生了解句型结构，为之后的写作做好铺垫。整个课程是通过过程性写作板块的训练，达到能够运用重点句型完成写作的任务。

Ⅱ.学情分析 The analysis of the students

学生学英语四个环节：听-说-读-写，写是最难的一个环节，四个环节环环相扣，只有做好了听，说，读的基础，才能进行写这一环节。所以在写作前先做好词，句的练习，让学生在这个过程中有循可依，也做到了学以致用。

指导思想与理论依据

国家教育部颁发的强调通过义务教育英语课程的学习,学生能够运用听说读写思想技能获取,处理和传递信息. 从这个意义上出发,阅读不应该是传统意义上的被动的接受性技能,而是一个积极主动地思考理解及获取信息的过程.

教学内容分析

单元教学内容分析：

本节课是人教版英语七年级下册第五单元《Why do you like pandas?》中的SectionB短文。通过之前的学习，学生掌握了单词和词组，对本单元的句型也了解了，所以为本节阅读课奠定了坚实的基础。首先本节课2a部分，通过调查学生对濒危动物的了解，引出本篇阅读，目的在于培养学生的动物保护意识。2b让学生整体阅读文章，并选出合适的标题，让学生学会快速的阅读和归纳。2c构建的思维导图可以让学生将零碎的信息变成块状，增强他们的思维能力。

学情分析

本节课主要呼吁学生保护动物，这个话题很容易激发他们的兴趣，所以整体看来比较简单。但是七年级的学生，年龄相对来说较小，自控能力较差，在课堂的过程中，容易溜号或是搞小动作，所以需要特别注意。

教学目标

1.知识目标：掌握save、forget、place、danger、kill等单词以及get lost、cut down和be in danger等词组。

2.能力目标：能够快速阅读2b文章，完成2c练习，并回答问题。

3.情感目标：通过本节课的学习培养学生的动物保护意识.
