1.Views on …vary from individualto individual. 或Views on …vary from person to person.

1】Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled CampusCertificates Craze. You should write at least120 words following theoutline given below:1.

Campus CertificatesCrazeIf you just randomly ask a student on campus what he is doing, verypossibly, he may answer you he is working for a certificate of some kind. Dig a little deeper, you will find that this has become a new craze among college students. The reasons behind the phenomenon can be summarized into just one: the pressure of finding a job after graduation. With the admission expansion of colleges, a lot moregraduates have to compete for the limited job posts. How to make oneself more competitive? Maybe more certificates at hand. Hoping that the employers might find one of them attractive, the students are compelled to run from one exam to another. As far as I am concerned, the students should have a more rational attitude towardcertificates. Because exam certificates do not necessarily represent one’s ability. For me, one just should work hard at his or her major. Opportunity will come to you if you are competent enough in your field.【预测作文2】Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitledColleges Have Opened Their Doors Wider. You should write at least 120 words following the outline given below:1. Colleges Have Opened TheirDoors WiderColleges have opened their doors wider in recent years as the student population has increased enormously from 4 million in 1997 to nearly 14 million in 2006. Is this a good thing? Some believe that the enrollment increase will benefit individuals and thesociety as a whole. It allows more students to enjoy higher education and this may in turn contribute to the overall improvement of the society. However, others express disapproval on it. They are afraid that some problems may arise from it. Firstly, the problem of unemployment. Secondly, the lower quality ofeducation due to the limited higher education resources. In my opinion, I am inclined to agree with the former view. Admittedly, a rapid increase of graduates seemingly places a heavy burden on the society. But in the long run, more and more educated people will eventually benefit the society. So, I amconvinced that the admission expansion is a good thing.【预测作文3】Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a n announcement.
