ⅠWarm up上课前的热身,引入阶段。
T: Communication is very important in our life. We need to corporate in our work,
exchange our idea or our feeling----every thing in human society. Think about what
kinds of communication we need.
老师:沟通在我们的生活中是非常重要的。在工作中,我们需要交流合作,在人类社会的各个方面,我们需要去和别人沟通去交换我们的想法或感情。思考一下,我们需要什么种类的沟通。
S: body language, talk by telephone. Send e-mail, write a letter
学生:肢体语言的沟通,电话沟通,电子邮件沟通,写信沟通
T: Though there are more modern means of communication, still writing letters is
thought a good way to connect people. It’s convenient and especially for things
people would not to say directly. Do you think so?
老师:尽管如今有很多交流方式,但是写信仍旧是一个好的和别人沟通的交流方式。因为写信方便,尤其是有些人们不想直接说的事。你们认为是这样吗?

T: You are to learn how to write a letter to somebody. Now, first, read the letter by
Wang Ying and then try to write to someone in English.
老师:你们将要学习如何写信给别人,现在首先阅读一封王莹写的信,然后尽力用英语写信给别人。
Ⅱ Reading阅读
Do the exercise 1. Read Wang Ying’s letter. Match each paragraph with one of the
following
做练习1:阅读王莹的信,把段落与下面的主题搭配起来
● a reason to end the letter来结束一封信的原因
● questions about the other person 关于其他人的一些问题
● information about Wang Ying’s life关于王莹生活的一些信息
● saying who are you 说出你是谁
In order to help students to understand the text ,the teacher can ask students to listen
to the tape then answer the following questions。
为了帮助学生理解文章,老师可以要求学生们听录音,然后回答下面的问题。
1. Whom does WangYing write to? 王莹写信给谁的?
2. When were they friends? 什么时候他们成为朋友的?
3. How many years haven’t they seen each other? 他们有多久没见面了?
4. From whom did Wang Ying get Fang Lan’s address?
王莹是从谁那得到王兰的地址的?
5. What job did Fang Lan want to choose in the past? 在以前,王兰想做什么工作?
6. What is Wang Ying studying now? 王莹现在正在学习什么?
Show a slide to teach students the form of letter
用一个幻灯片向学生们展示信的格式
Write a letter to someone. Follow the steps:根据下面的步骤,写一封信给某人。
1. Make an information card about what you are going to write..
制作一张卡片,上面写上将要写什么信息
1).About the person you are writing 关于你将要写信给的那个人的信息
2). About yourself 关于你自己的信息

如何在信封上写地址。用幻灯片向学生们展示

Students copy the table into their notebooks 让学生把表格抄在笔记本上
Students listen to the cassette and complete the table 学生听录音然后完成这个表格
Play the cassette again, pausing for students to check their answers
再放一遍录音,短暂的暂停一下,让学生来核对他们的答案。
Do the exercise 3 做练习3
Play the cassette again, pausing after each question for students to write the question
down 再放一遍录音,每个问题之后暂停一下,要求学生去把每个问题写出来。
When students have written the questions, play the cassette again so they can mark
the intonation up or down。
当学生写完问题之后,再放一遍录音,让学生标出说话者的语调(升调还是降调)
Ⅳ Homework:家庭作业
1:Write a letter to yourselves in 20 years. Talk about anything you want . Make
sure there is an envelop along with. 写一封信给20年后的自己,说一些自己想要的任何事。确信也要有信封(如何用英语写信封)

第一步:你准备写给谁?你是谁?
• Step 2 Questions about the other person
第二步:关于别人的一些问题
• Step 3 What are you doing now?
第三步:你现在正在做什么?
• Step 4 A reason to end your letter.
第四步:一个来结束信件的原因
• Step5 Sign off ( best wishes & your name)
第五步:签字结束这封信(最好的祝愿,和你的名字)
2: Do a survey about lifestyles. Follow the stages.
按以下步骤做一个关于生活方式的调查
Stage1: Choose one field in your life. Then work out following three questions for your survey.
第一步:选择一个你生活中的领域,然后回答你调查中的三个问题。
Why do you like this area? 为什么你喜欢这个领域?
What is/are your favorite program(s) in this area?在这个领域中,你具体喜欢什么活动?
How many hours do u spend on it a week? 你每周花多长时间在这(些)活动上?
Stage 2: Ask different students these three questions and make a table for their answers.第二步:问不同的学生这三个问题,然后把他们的答案做一个表格。
Stage3: Compare these answers in the form of a graph. Display your graph on the wall and
describe it to your classmates in English.
第三步:用图表的形式来比较这些答案,把你的图表贴在墙上向同学们展示,然后用英语去描述这个图表。
