Beijing and Shenzhen. However, there are still midterm exams the primary students

have to experience because teachers and parents think it necessary. In my view,

midterm exams are an important part in education process and we should have

midterm exams.

Midterm exams are an good way for you to prepare for the final exams. First, they

help you enhance your memory of knowledge in the half term. A wealth of research

has established in Science that practice tests improve memory. Practicing the midterm

exam is a process of recalling what you’ve learned. Midterm exams can also reveal

some problems of your half-term study, according to which students can have enough

time to improve your study methods and making your own appropriate study schedule.

What else can students obtain in midterm exams? Some experience in answering,

which surely benefits you in the final exams.

On the other hand, teacher can also be helped from the midterm exams. Midterm exams

are important to teaching as well as the students’ study. According the facts of midterm

exams’ results , they can have an self-examination and adjust their teaching plan, improving

their teaching .

Students who hates midterm exams may argue that midterm exams increase their

study burden, for they are still in adaptation to a new semester. However, if there is no

midterm exams, it would lessen the burden of midterm study. On the contary, students

would have more stress in the next half-term study. Above all, midterm exams play an important role in both students’ study and

the teaching of teachers in education. As a student now or a future teacher, we should

Hey guys! As you know, we have our mid-term exams

coming up in about a month, so it's time to start planning out

our study schedule. I know exams can be a bit scary, but if we

work hard and stay focused, we can do our best and ace those

English class can be really tough sometimes. We have to

learn all those grammar rules, memorize tons of vocabulary
