以下是小编精心收集的英语作文,希望对大家有所帮助!小妇人英语读后感一Little Women is a novel published in 1868 and written by American author Louisa May Alcott. The story concerns the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War. It was based on Alcott's own experiences as a child in Concord, Massachusetts with her three sisters, Anna, May, and Elizabeth.Little Women is the story of The Marches, a family used to hard toil and suffering. Although Father March is away with the Union armies, the sisters Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth keep in high spirits with their mother, affectionately named Marmee. Their friendly gift of a Christmas holiday breakfast to a neighbouring family is an act of generosity rewarded with wealthy Mr. Laurence's gift of a surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the pretty Meg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; while the golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keepsthe house is always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husband's illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or less an invalid. The novel tells of their progress into young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beth's terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. This is the story of their growing maturity and wisdom and the search for the contentedness of family life. It was written in 1867 and is a fictionalised biography of Alcott and her sisters. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seem outdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.小妇人是一部小说出版于1868年,由美国作家路易莎·梅·奥尔科特写的。

英语版小妇人读后感"Little Women" A Heartwarming Read."Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott is like a warm hug in the form of a book.# Characters that Feel like Family. The four March sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy are so vividly drawn that they feel like real people you might have grown up with. Meg is the eldest, with her dreams of a genteel life and her struggle to balance her desires with the reality of her family's financial situation. I could totallyrelate to her when she was trying on those fancy dresses at the Moffats' party and felt a bit out of her depth. It was like watching a friend make a little misstep in the pursuit of something shiny.Jo, well, she's the kind of girl I wish I could be more like. She's a tomboy with a passion for writing that burns as bright as a bonfire. Her impatience with the traditional female roles of her time made me cheer for her every time she defied convention. Remember when she cut off her hair to sell it? That was such a bold move. It's like she was saying, "I'm not going to be defined by how I look, but by what I can do." And her relationship with Laurie was a rollercoaster. I was rooting for them to get together at first, but then when she turned him down, I was like, "Jo, what are you doing?" But in the end, it all made sense.Beth is the sweetest soul. Her love for music and her quiet, gentle nature made her the heart of the family. When she got sick, it was like a dark cloud hovering over the whole story. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping she would get better. Her death was so sad, but it also showed thestrength of the family bond. They all came together to support each other through that tough time.Amy, the youngest, was a bit of a spoiled brat at first. But as she grew up, she became more self aware and determined. Her trip to Europe with Aunt March was like her coming of age journey. I loved seeing her transformation from a girl who was a bit too focused on material things to a young woman who knew what she wanted in life.# Lessons in Life and Love. The book is full of valuable lessons. One of the things that struck me was how the March family dealt with their poverty. They didn't let it define them or make them bitter. Instead, they found joy in simple things like their little plays at home and the gifts they made for each other. It made me think about how we often focus on what we don't have instead of being grateful for what we do.The relationships in the book are also really interesting. The love between the sisters is so pure and strong. They fight, they make up, and they support each other no matter what. It's a reminder of how important family can be. And the romantic relationships, like Jo and ProfessorBhaer's, were really sweet. It wasn't a typical love at first sight kind of thing. They grew to love each other through mutual respect and shared interests.# A Timeless Classic."Little Women" has a timeless quality. Even though it was written a long time ago, the themes of family, love, growing up, and following your dreams are still relevant today. It's a book that can make you laugh, cry, and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's like a comfort food for the soul.Reading it is like spending time with old friends, and I'm sure I'll be coming back to it again and again in the future.。

From their body, I learned how strong and learned how to be contented, but I can not satisfy the need to learn to always be full of hope for the future and try to chase the dream of optimism. This book was written in four different character marches through their own kind of girl, hardworking and found myself happy story. Novels have dropped the ups and downs of the rock, no fascinating plot of suspense, but the author use si-mp-le language describes marges family love. Their kindness, love and affection loyalty to deeply touched me. The author describes the details of life is very ordinary, but everywhere to love, reveal the longing for a better life. Marges girl although home, but they are poor in anything positive and optimistic attitude. They stressed the novel character and dignity, also show their self constraint, and become more independent of the four girls are common characteristics. They are constantly to find their own shortcomings and to correct. It is also worth everybody study. I liked Meg, like her willingneto love, not for money poverty seduced by the character, like her fair maiden wind. I like Joe, like her, like her dream to strive for the firm determination. I like beth, like her quiet, do anything without complaining, like she always for others good moral character. I also like Amy, like her strong, the poor as Keats responsibility of poverty. They are not the same fate with the ideal, but they found a better ending. In their opinion, home is their land and sacred shelter. They will listen carefully to the mothers teachings, will use his hands, intelligent nimble invented the brain to another creative mind and beautification of the game. Four sisters growth course is a rich taste of education. The author used neither luxuriant also not boring language shows us a great affection, human friendship and love. In my opinion, it seems that the four sisters, forever and their love and love their lives together is the happiest thing. From them, I learned to strong, learn to understand content but cannot satisfy, I learned to hope for the future, and never to chasing the dream of optimism, I also learned mustdouble treasures have died, dont wait until they know lost. We should be careful that everyone has the advantages of not wear blinders only see the faults of others. Meg, Joe, beth, Amy, they four strong, optimistic spirit will be stored in my heart. They smile will remain in my mind, reminding me: be strong, have a pure heart. 《⼩妇⼈》英语读后感2000字篇3 Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. So I have a strong interest on it. It all begins in the dead of winter; The Christmas Season. The coldest one of all, were the war has made fuel for heating very scarce. While her husband is off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise their four daughters: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy. On Christmas Eve, Marmee has just arrived home from passing out food to the less fortunate with a letter from her husband, the girls father. The all gather together around the fire to read the letter. Afterwards, the girls are teary eyed. Marmee kisses them and they are off to bed. Jo is longing to become a writer. So, every night she stays up late writing the script for soap operas. As morning comes she is the last one awake. The table is set, and food prepared for their Christmas feast. As dusk falls, the girls are all up in the attic acting out Jos play, which she reads from the local (fake) newspaper. As they are performing, their rich, next-door neighbors grandson watches from the window. The 2 oldest girls: Jo and Meg, get ready to attend the Christmas Ball. While Jo is curling Megs hair, there is a strange smell to the air. Amy screams, Megs hair is being singed. They continue digging through the old clothes bin for a pair of white gloves. One of the prominent themes in Little Women is the coming of age or maturation of the girls. During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways -- physically, intellectually, and especially emotionally. One question which readers must ask themselves is whether the views the characters have on the coming of age process are shared by Alcott. If they arent, what are Alcotts views and how do they differ from those of the women in her story? It is interesting to examine the last half of Chapter 20, "Confidential." Jo addresses the maturation issue as she speaks with Marmee of the situation between Meg and Mr. Brooke. The possible love between these two represents one of the very important aspects in coming of age for a teenage girl. Jo treats this natural process as if it were some sort of disease, however. Jo cannot understand why Meg would want to stop behaving "like a sensible creature" (p.202), and refers to love as "such nonsense." 《⼩妇⼈》英语读后感2000字篇4 During the American Civil War, Mr. Madge went to the battlefield as chaplain, four daughters and her mother at home and lived a poor but strong and optimistic life. Although they were poor, they were willing to help Hummel, a neighbor who was more in need of help. Women have vanity, they want to get beautiful clothes, eat delicious food, live like a princess. Although full of fantasy, but in real life, they have been relying on their own efforts to solve all kinds of hardships in life. Meg was the eldest daughter of beauty, full of longing for love; the two daughter of Joe independent, determined to become a writer; three daughter Bess is a traditional girl, gentle and lovely little daughter Amy loves painting. The story follows the years when the four women grew up as young women, describing their uninhibited love experiences and their respective pursuit of different ideals and destination. This is a book that looks very prosaic at the first glance. But when you go deep into it, you will be surprised to find that this book seems to be full of the shadow of yourself or some familiar people. To face and experience all the girls growing up in the age of the girl, can be found in this book: the first love and worry, differences between emotion and reason, the idealand the reality, the contradiction between the rich and poor. The little woman has no plot of falling rocks and no suspense, but the author tells the familys love by simple words. Watching and watching, I can not help but cry for them, inspired by their experience, and even pray for their misfortune. Of course I was their humor laugh, they admire the courage to face difficulties...... Unconsciously, I felt like I was one of them, watching and thinking about the plot of my mind. I like Meg, I like her love for poverty, not for money temptation character, like her lady style. I like Joe, I like her freedom, I love her unswerving determination to dream. I love Beth, love her quiet, do anything without complaining, she always love for others good character. I also like Amys belief that she is strong and regards poverty alleviation as the responsibility of poverty. Their ideals and fates are different, but they all find their best home. In their view, the home is their growing place, but also a sacred refuge. They listened carefully to their mothers teachings, and used their smart hands and brains to invent another creative and beautiful mind game. The growth process of the four sisters seems to be an interesting educational poem. The author uses neither gorgeous nor boring language to show us the great family, friendship and love of human beings. It seems to me that in the eyes of the four sisters, it is the happiest thing in the world to live forever with the people they love and those who love them. From them, I learned to be strong, learned to know contentment, but can not meet, I learned to be full of hope for the future, and strive to pursue the dream of optimism. I also learned to double treasure what I have, dont wait for death to lose, only to know their commendable. We should find out the advantages of everyone, not with colored eyes, but see the shortcomings of others. 《⼩妇⼈》英语读后感2000字篇5 Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. 黑布林英语阅读小妇人读后感英文300字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Little Women Book ReportLittle Women is a really good book by Louisa May Alcott. It's about four sisters named Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy who live with their mother while their father is away fighting in the Civil War.The story starts on Christmas when the girls don't have much money for presents. But they are still happy because they have each other. The oldest sister Meg is very proper and wants to live a fancy life. Jo is a tomboy who likes writing stories. Beth is very shy and sweet. Amy is the youngest and a bit spoiled.A boy named Laurie moves in next door and becomes friends with the sisters. Jo is his best friend. Laurie has a grand mansion and lots of money, unlike the March family who is poor.Meg gets a job as a governess to earn money. Jo sells her beautiful hair to get money for her mother to travel to see their father who is very sick in the war hospital. It's so sad when gentle Beth catches scarlet fever from a poor family she was helping. My favorite part is when Jo's stories get printed and she can stop working as a governess. I laughed when Amy falls through the ice while showing off her skating skills in front of her crush. The sisters all grow up and get married by the end, except for Beth who dies from her illness.I really liked this book because the four sisters are so close and loving, even though they fight sometimes like real siblings. It shows you can still be happy without lots of money if you have a good family. I give Little Women two thumbs up!篇2Little Women Book ReportHi! My name is Emma and I'm in 5th grade. For my book report, I read the classic novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It was published in 1868 and is about the four March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy - growing up in New England during the American Civil War while their father is away serving as a pastor in the army.I really liked this book a lot! It follows the lives of the four sisters over several years as they go through all the ups and downs of life. Even though it takes place a very long time ago, the characters felt so real and relatable to me.My favorite character was definitely Jo March. She is the second oldest sister and is a total tomboy who loves reading, writing stories, and having fun adventures. Jo has a great sense of humor and doesn't care what others think of her - she just wants to be herself. I loved how passionate and determined she was to become a famous writer one day. Jo was always getting into silly scrapes and mishaps that made me laugh out loud. One of the funniest parts was when Jo burns a section of her hair off after falling asleep while writing next to the fire! Her friend Laurie then cuts off the rest of her long hair into a short curly crop. Jo is really upset at first, but then decides she actually prefers the new boyish hairstyle. I thought it was cool how she didn't let society's expectations for how girls are "supposed" to look and act hold her back from being herself.Another thing I admired about Jo was her devotion to her family, especially her beloved sister Beth. When Beth gets really sick with scarlet fever, Jo cuts off and sells her beautiful long hair to buy her a last gift - the coveted John Bunyan book that Beth had wanted. This shows how selfless and caring Jo is toward her sisters. While Jo was definitely my favorite, I also really liked youngest sister Amy. At first she seems a bit spoiled and babyish, but over the course of the novel you see her mature into a talented artist. Her experiences living in aunts' homes and Europe help give her more confidence and life experience. By the end, I felt proud of how much Amy had grown up.The main message or theme I took away from Little Women is the importance of staying true to yourself and your values, even when facing pressure to conform to societal norms and expectations. Whether it's Jo defying gender stereotypes by being more interested in books than parties, or Amy refusing to marry just for money, the March sisters navigate growing up while holding onto their individuality. The book celebrates their different personalities and dreams rather than trying to force them into a single mold.I also loved the strong family bond between the sisters and their mother, who they affectionately call Marmee. Though they often squabble and get on each other's nerves (as all siblings do!), they deeply care for one another. They stick together through good times and bad, learning valuable life lessons along the way about love, loss, sacrifice and following your passions.Overall, I highly recommend Little Women to anyone who enjoys reading heartwarming tales about the enduring power of family and pursuing your aspirations. While set nearly 200 yearsago, the relatable characters and universal themes make this timeless story still ring true today. I'm glad I had the chance to tag along with the unforgettable March family in this delightful American classic!篇3Little Women: A Book That Warms the Heart"Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott is a book that has truly captured my heart. It tells the story of the four March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy - and their journey through the joys and sorrows of growing up in New England during the Civil War era. What I love most about this book is how relatable the characters are. The sisterly bond between Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy reminds me so much of the close relationships I have with my own siblings. We may fight and tease each other, but at the end of the day, we always have each other's backs, just like the March sisters.Jo March is definitely my favorite character. Her independent spirit, her love for writing, and her unwillingness to conform to society's expectations for young ladies really resonated with me.I admire her determination to pursue her dreams and her loyalty to her family, even when faced with difficult choices.Another aspect of the book that I found truly heartwarming was the strong sense of family values and the importance placed on virtues like kindness, generosity, and integrity. Despite their financial struggles, the March family always found ways to help those in need and to appreciate the simple joys in life. However, the book also deals with some heavy themes, such as the loss of a loved one and the sacrifices that come with growing up. Beth's illness and eventual passing left me in tears, but it also taught me valuable lessons about cherishing every moment and finding strength in adversity.Overall, "Little Women" is a timeless classic that has touched my heart in ways I never expected. It's a beautiful story about the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood, the importance of family, and the resilience of the human spirit. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartwarming and inspiring read.篇4Little Women by Louisa May Alcott - Book ReviewHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. For my latest book report, I read the classic novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Let me tell you all about it!Little Women is set in the 1860s in New England during the Civil War. It's about the four March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. Their father is away serving as a pastor in the war, so it's just the girls and their mom (called Marmee) at home. Even though they don't have much money, the family is very close and loving. The story mainly follows the second oldest daughter, Jo. She is a total tomboy who hates having to act like a proper young lady. Jo loves reading, writing, and having fun adventures with her sisters. Her big dream is to become a famous writer one day.I loved Jo's wild, independent spirit - she was my favorite character! The oldest sister is Meg. She is the prettiest and most proper of the bunch. Meg cares a lot about things like nice dresses and manners. I thought she could be a bit too focused on money and society's expectations at times. But she has a good heart.Next is the timid, sweet Beth. She is very shy and the pianist of the family. Beth adores staying home, helping with chores, and playing with her kitty. Out of all the sisters, I felt she was too quiet and meek. I wish she would have stood up for herself more!Lastly, there's the spoiled youngest sister Amy. She is obsessed with being a proper young lady, looking nice, andmarrying rich. Amy can be very moody, selfish, and mean to her sisters sometimes. Still, she is talented at art and grows a lot through the book's events. There's also their wise mother Marmee, their wealthy relative Aunt March, the intelligent boy next door Laurie, and his tutor Professor Bhaer. So many fun and interesting characters to get to know!A lot happens over the course of the book as the years go by. The sisters face poverty, illnesses, romance, falling outs, and finding their places in the world. My favorite parts were the crazy play they put on, the time Amy fell into the frozen lake, and Jo's lively writing adventures in New York. I definitely laughed and cried while reading! There are many important themes explored too, like the value of family, finding your passions in life, and staying true to yourself. The book teaches great lessons about love, loss, ambition, and growing up. There were so many meaningful quotes that really made me think.Overall, I adored Little Women and flew through all 500 pages! The vivid characters and their heartwarming story completely drew me in from beginning to end. I'm sure I'll read it again someday. If you love tales about close families, independent young women, and the adventures of growing up, then you must read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott! It's a true classic that I think kids and adults alike would really enjoy. That's my take at least - let me know if you agree once you've read it yourself! So that's my 2,000-word book report reviewing the wonderful Little Women. Thanks for reading my thoughts on this fantastic novel. Happy reading!篇5Little Women: A Delightful Tale of Family and Growing Up"Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott is one of the most wonderful books I've ever read! It's the story of the four March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy - and their journey through the joys and sorrows of growing up in New England during the Civil War era.The book begins on a cold Christmas without presents since the March family is poor. But the girls hardly seem to mind! They are kind, caring, and find joy in simple things like playing games, putting on plays, and keeping each other company. I loved seeing their close bond as sisters right from the start. My favorite character is definitely Jo, the tomboy of the bunch. She's so full of spirit and refuses to act like a "proper lady." Jo loves writing stories and has big dreams of becoming a famous author one day. She's funny and not afraid to speak her mind. At one point, she even cuts off all her hair to help her sick father! Jo doesn't care what others think - she follows her heart.Beth is probably the sweetest of all the sisters. She's quiet and shy, but incredibly kind. Beth loves music and playing the old piano makes her happier than anything. Whenever I read about her gently patting one of the kittens or laughing at a funny story, it warmed my heart. Beth is an angel.Meg, the oldest, wants to be a great beauty and marry rich. I wasn't always a fan of Meg because I thought she could be vain and too interested in fancy things. But as the story goes on, you see Meg mature and learn important lessons about what really matters in life. I grew to appreciate her more. And finally there's Amy, the youngest little girl who is often acting like a proper little lady. She's great at art and dreams of being a famous painter in Europe. Amy can be a bit of a brat sometimes, like when she burns Jo's writing as revenge. But Amy learns and grows too, becoming sweeter by the end.I loved reading about the girls' adventures and mishaps, like when they accidentally burn down the kitchen or when they star in Jo's hilarious melodrama! The March sisters made me laugh out loud so many times throughout the book. The family endures hard times together, with the father away at war and the mother working to support them. There are moments of great sadness too, which had me crying. I won't spoil what happens, but Alcott did an amazing job making me feel the emotions so vividly.More than anything, I took away an appreciation for the strong family bond between the March sisters and their mother, Marmee. Even when times are tough, their love for each other shines through on every page. I loved being a part of their world for a little while. At its heart, "Little Women" teaches beautiful lessons about finding happiness through simple joys, cherishing loved ones, and staying true to yourself despite pressure to be something you're not. The March sisters will forever be a part of my life after reading this classic tale. I'm already looking forward to revisiting their world again soon!篇6Little Women Book ReportLittle Women is a really good book by Louisa May Alcott. It's about four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March - who live with their mom while their dad is away fighting in the Civil War.The story starts on Christmas without presents because the family doesn't have much money. But the girls don't mind since they have each other. My favorite sister is Jo because she's so full of fun and doesn't care what people think about her. She wants to be a writer when she grows up.The book follows the sisters as they get older. Meg gets married, Jo goes to New York to be a governess, Beth gets sick, and Amy goes to Europe. There's lots of adventures and sad parts too, like when Beth dies. That made me cry.I liked how the sisters were so close and supportly each other no matter what. Like when Amy burned Jo's writing, Jo was really mad but later she forgave her little sister. And when Laurie wanted to marry one of them, they put their family first. My favorite part was when Jo turned down Laurie's marriage proposal because she wanted to be independent. She didn't just want to be someone's wife. I thought that was really brave of her in those times.Overall, I totally loved Little Women! The March sisters felt like friends to me. I was sad when the book ended because I wanted to keep reading about their lives. This a beautiful story about family that I'd recommend to anyone!。
小妇人英语的读后感【三篇】1.小妇人英语的读后感Little Women is a novel published in 1868 and written by American author Louisa May Alcott. The story concerns the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War. It was based on Alcotts own experiences as a child in Concord, Massachusetts with her three sisters, Anna, May, and Elizabeth. Little Women is the story of The Marches, a family used to hard toil and suffering. Laurences gift of a surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the pretty Meg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; while the golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keeps the house is always kind and gentle. After certain happytimes winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husbands illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. The novel tells of their progreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beths terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. This is the story of their growing maturity and wisdom and the search for the contentedneof family life. It was written in 1867 and is a fictionalised biography of Alcott and her sisters. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seem outdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.2.小妇人英语的读后感Little woman is an autobiography novel properties with the family, the author is American Alcott. This book was written in four different character marches through their own kind of girl, hardworking and found myself happy story.Novels have dropped the ups and downs of the rock, no fascinating plot of suspense, but the author use simple language describes marge”s family love. deeply thinking,I found some reasons that why I can't write a good English article.
Firstly,my vocablulary is very poor. Some words I can express them by Chinese but I don't know
their English name.It caused I can't make a complete sentence without dictionary's help.
Secondly,my English grammar is very terrible.I always makes some wrong sentences with no
consiciousness. When I have grammar class,I just want to sleep.Because it is boring.
Thirdly,my knowledge is so poor that I can't do an objectiveevaluate for some hot news.It also
