Many people regard money as the most important thing in their life but

I don’t agree with them. There are so many things that money can’t buy.

The first money can’t buy us knowledge abilities and experience. The second

money can’t buy us a happy mood and a good health.

However money plays a significant role in our daily life. We can’t live

without it because we have to use money to buy our daily necessities like

food drinks clothes books and so on. And we also need money to pay for our

houses and education.

All in all we should have a correct concept of money. We can’t live for

money but take it as a tool leading a better life.

许多人认为金钱是生活中最重要的东西，但我不同意他们的观点。有很多东西是金钱买不到的。第一，金钱不能为我们买到知识，能力和经验。第二，钱不能买来快乐的心情和健康的身体。

但是，金钱在我们的日常生活中扮演着很重要的角色。没有金钱我们无法生活，因为我们必须要用钱来买日常必需品，如食物，饮料，衣服，书籍等等。我们还需要钱来买我们房子获得教育。

总之，我们应该有一个正确的金钱观。我们不能为了赚钱而活，而是要把它作为一种能领导一个更好的生活的工具。

Many people believe that money is the most important thing in life. It

seems impossible to live without money in today’s society. With money people

can buy bigger house fancy cloths expensive food luxurious cars and travel

all around the world. Money leads to a better life and ensure people’s basic

needs. Money is also stand for wealth and social status. If one makes countless money then he is a successful man. As to some young girls money

is the only measure to access a man. If a man has a new apartment and a new

car he will be the “hot stuff” in the girls’ eye. They marry for money

rather than for love. Just like the old Chinese saying goes money makes the

mare go. Making more money has become a major goal in the eye of some people.

They value money more than anything else in the world.

Different people have different opinions of money. Some people spare no

effort to make money such as stealing gambling and cheating. They believe

money can bring them everything. However I don’t think money can make people

really happy or bring people everything. People can not use money to buy

health. Steven Jobs the founder of the Apple Company died of cancer. He was

a billionaire but he couldn’t use money to buy himself a longer life. And

money can not buy the time that already slip away. Money is also a tool for

us to exchange materials but not all the stuff. We should have a right attitude

towards money. We should earn money by honest means and spend it probably.

Only in this way money can make us happy.

许多人相信金钱是生活中最重要的东西。在现代社会，似乎没有钱就不能生活下去。有了钱，人们就能够买更大的房子、漂亮的衣服、昂贵的食物、豪华的大车、去世界各地旅游。金钱让人们的生活更加美好，保障了生活中的必备品。钱也是财富和社会地位的象征。如果一个人赚了数不清的钱，那么，他就是一个成功人士。对于某些年轻的女孩子来说，钱是衡量一个男人的唯一标准。那么有房有车的男人，在女孩子心中就是“抢手货”。她们情愿嫁给金钱而不是真爱。就像中国古话说的那样：“有钱能使鬼推磨”。赚钱成了一些人的主要目标。他们把钱看得比世界上的任何东西都重要。

不同的人，对金钱持不同的态度。有些人为了赚钱不择手段。例如：偷盗、赌博、诈骗。他们相信钱能给他们带来一切。然而，我不相信钱是万能的。金钱买不来健康的身体。苹果公司的创始人，史蒂夫乔布斯死于癌症。他是个亿万富翁，却无法用钱延续自己的生命。钱也不能换回已经逝去的时光。金钱不过是人们用来交换东西的工具，但也不是全部的东西都能换回来。我们应该对金钱持一个正确的态度。用诚实的手段赚钱，合理的花钱。只有这样，金钱才能让我们感到幸福快乐。

needless to say, money is not very important, but very very important.

if there is no money, i can’t use this microphone to speak to you and

we can’t have such a room to hold such a competition. without money, we can’t study in such a schoolyard. without money, we can’t live in such a hometown.

without money, we can’t have such a motherland. on the other hand, if there

is no money, you don’t need to bear my speech about money now.

most of us have dreams about the future, dreams of having a good job and

making much money. surely someone has thought at times “if only i had a lot

of money, i could be the happiest person in the world.” in fact it’s the

main mistake that people make about money.

however, is money the road to happiness? not really! many people work

every day, work overtime, work weekends to make a lot of money. are they happy?

no. they are too busy making money. meanwhile, their personal lives, if they

have any, fall apart. they have no time to form or to maintain friendship.

they even lose the abilities to relax and to enjoy themselves. enjoying means

taking things, taking time to see, to hear, to taste, to smell, to feel. they

do not take time to do this. they say: “i’ll do it when i have enough money

to retire” then they find that it is too late. why we usually make such a

mistake and even more mistakes? activists say it is because of money itself.

they think money has changed many things. for example, they think money has

changed our way to measure someone’s value in the society. they even regard

money as the source of evil. also, they hate money, but they are wrong,

completely wrong.
