The fox and the grapes
One hot summer day a fox was walking through an orchard. He stopped before
a bunch of grapes. They were ripe and juicy.
"I'm just feeling thirsty," he thought. So he backed up a few paces, got a
running start, jumped up, but could not reach the grapes.
He walked back. One, two, three, he jumped up again, but still, he missed
the grapes.
The fox tried again and again, but never succeeded. At last he decided to
give it up.
He walked away with his nose in the air, and said“I am sure they are
sour.”

The Sour Grape Story
Once upon a time, there was a fox who saw a vineyard
full of ripe, juicy grapes hanging from the vines. The
fox's mouth watered as he imagined the sweet taste of those
grapes. He was eager to taste them, but the vineyard was
surrounded by a tall fence, and the fox could not reach the
grapes.
The fox tried jumping over the fence, but it was too
tall. He tried to climb the fence, but it was too slippery.
He even tried to dig a hole under the fence, but the soil
was too hard. After trying everything he could, the fox
realized that he could not get the grapes.
Feeling disappointed and frustrated, the fox walked
away from the vineyard with a heavy heart. As he walked, he
turned back and looked at the grapes hanging from the vines.
Suddenly, he smiled and said, "Those grapes are not ripe

The fable of the fox and the grapes is a timeless tale that has been
passed down through generations teaching us a valuable lesson
about human nature and the way we often rationalize our failures or
disappointments. The story goes that a hungry fox comes across a
vine laden with succulent-looking grapes but despite his best efforts
he is unable to reach them. Frustrated, the fox decides that the
grapes must be sour anyway and walks away declaring that he didn't
want them in the first place.
This classic story illustrates the human tendency to belittle or
devalue things that we desire but cannot obtain. When faced with
unattainable goals, we often find a way to convince ourselves that we
never really wanted them after all. By dismissing the object of our
desire as unworthy, we can protect our ego and save face rather than
