谈传统教学模式与多媒体教学模式下的大学英语教学[摘要]文章旨在分析传统教学模式和多媒体教学模式的长处与不足，针对如何让两种模式互补进行思考和探索，提出应在两种模式取长补短的基础上，改进大学英语教学模式，在网络教学模式中融入传统模式的情感交流，细化布置给学生的学习任务，完善教育评估手段，提升教师专业知识水平，从而促进大学英语教学，适应我国外语教学发展的现状。

随着我国文化在世界上发挥着越来越重要的作用，国际舞台对英语这种交流媒介提出更高的要求，大众对英语教育的期望值也随之提高。

然而，我们不难发现在大多数的高校里，传统的英语教学模式在当今的教育环境中已显得力不从心，怎样革除传统英语教学中的弊端使之与时俱进地适应时代发展已成为当下大学英语教学必须首先抓好的突破点。

计算机网络日新月异的飞速发展为英语教育拓展出新的教学平台，为教学模式改革创造了契机提供了手段。

如何在传统教学模式基础上去粗取精，利用计算机网络技术进一步探索与国际接轨的英语教学模式，从而整体提高学生英语运用能力也是亟待解决的问题。

一、传统教学模式教学模式是指在一定的教学思想、教学理论和学习理论的指导下，在某种环境中展开教学活动进程的稳定结构形式。

组成教学活动的要素包括教师、学生、教材、媒介等。

传统教学模式一直存在“重师轻生”的现象，衡量教学过程的标准是教师备课是否认真详尽，讲课是否生动丰富、条理鲜明，衡量教学效果的标准也以量化考核为主。

此基础上的传统大学英语教学方法便是以教师为主讲、学生为主听。

因此，传统教学的特点如下：一是教学环境和学习环境一成不变，教学过程相对僵化；二是课堂以教师为中心，学生在课堂上运用语言、锻炼听力的机会较少；三是过分强调语法和阅读，忽视听说；四是教师擅长把语言拆分成零散语法和词汇，进行分类讲解，偏离了语言应用的实质，不注重实用性；五是对于课堂以外的自主学习没有规划。

高中英语教育的词汇量庞大，涉及语法繁多，导致教学难度也偏大。

在这样的教学背景之下，如果教师仍旧采用枯燥乏味的传统教学方式进行讲学，无疑会极大的损害学生学习英语的兴趣。

此外，在英语教学活动之中，存在着部分教师对于教材内容开发程度不够的问题，导致英语教学内容趋向单调，教学内容设计较为匮乏的现象，极大的限制了高中英语教学质量的提升。

2.教学方法落后。

由于高中英语与高考成绩牵涉较深，导致高中英语的教育过分偏重对于学生应试能力的培养。

从积极的方面来说，如果教师仍旧采用生搬硬套的灌输性教学，在短时间内自然能够有效提高学生的英语成绩，但长远来看仍不利于学生的发展。

英语是一门国际性的语言，培养学生的口语表达能力是英语教学的重要内容，这就要求教师实施多元化的教学方法，首先是要培养学生的语感；其次是调动学生的学习兴趣；再者是构建一个和谐平等的师生关系，便于交流沟通；最后才是教授学生学习的方法，在这个过程之中对学生自主学习能力、协作精神、探究能力进行逐一的培养。

在进行英语课堂教学时，笔者注意以下问题的处理：(一)抓好语法教学现行英语教材所涉及的内容多，课时又极有限。

小学英语与初中英语教材，在编写内容上重复的较多，如音标、字母、日常口语、对话等相当一部分七年级课本中的单词和句子，在小学课本中均已出现。

中小学英语教材的衔接上存在着脱轨现象，严重地违反了教育学原理。

语法项目等比较复杂，学生不易掌握。

语法揭示了语言的内在规律。

对于学习者来说，一定的语法知识有助于更正确和更标准地使用语言。

而对于外语学习来说，语法学习则是掌握一门语言的捷径。

近些年英语教学方法不断翻新，英语课成了“四不象”。

一部分教师，尤其是刚走上讲台的教师，容易走极端。

在英语课上几乎不讲语法，上课就是全盘西化的授课方式，这种课实质上是很不走俏的课，费时低效不说，学生易“走火入魔”，或容易造成“两极分化”。

Have replay videos and recordings to rewatch anything you missed or didn't quite understand the first time around. Take breaks whenever needed to use the bathroom or grab a snack without it being a big interruption. For kids who learn a little slower or faster than the average, that flexibility is really useful.Because you're learning remotely through a computer, there's absolutely zero distractions from other rowdy students either. Just you focused on your work without anyone poking you or causing a ruckus. As someone who gets distracted pretty easily, I welcome that peaceful environment.Using digital tools and online resources can make learning a lot more fun and engaging compared to just reading from textbooks too. If your internet cuts out or your computer crashes, there goes your ability to participate in class and get work done that day. 例如，在我刚带一个新的班级的时候，我本着了解大家英语的掌握情况的目的，就让一些同学即兴发言，但是没人愿意主动回答。

例如，玫瑰这个单词，英文是Rose ，读作/rose/其中字母“r ”发类似“若”的音，舌头后缩，但是很多学生习惯发汉语拼音“ri ”的音，将玫瑰这个词读成了“柔丝”；在发“th ”组合的时候应该发/θ/的音，舌尖需要放在牙齿中间，是一个咬舌音，但是很多学生就会发生/s/的音，舌尖抵住了上齿龈来发音，这样“谢谢”thank 的发音就和“性别”sex 的发音一样了。

很多老师在不注重英语发音的教学，在音标的学习过程中没有仔细跟学生区别相似音标的发音特点和注意事项，只是教学生读几遍就完事了，这样肯定不能让学生掌握好每个音标的发音特点，而且在学生发音不标准的时候老师也不去刻意纠正，这就导致了学生的口语能力较弱。

因此，多数教师受“为应试而教”的思想影响，在教学中带有浓厚的应试色彩，普遍重视英语语言知识的讲解和操练。

认为只要把语言知识讲透，练到，学生成绩就会高，教学目就达到了。

于是整个课堂就是讲、就是灌，大量地做题、机械地训练。

导致英语课被上成了语法课，语言知识课。

学生满脑子都是死的英语知识，英语语法。

这些知识与学生的语言应用实际脱离，根本无助于学生的英语运用能力的提高，背离了英语学习的实质。

很多教师以中考试题中的知识考查题为例证，认为这就是中考题的精神之所在。

认为只有重视了知识讲解，中考才会岀成绩，才会对得起学生，对得起家长。

因此在教学上重笔头，轻听说，部分学生甚至只完成笔头作业，不完成听说作业，造成听说能力的薄弱，开不了口，怕开口，成了“哑巴英语。

”因此培养岀来的学生英语的书面交际能力也很差，更不用说口头交际能力了。

这完全违背了英语是一门语言，是用来交际的工具的宗旨所在。

2、只重教法，忽略学法指导。

新教材的使用，使有的教师片面注重教法，而忽略对学法的研究。

譬如大多数初中的学生对词汇的记忆只是死记硬背，不懂得按照正确拼读音标的方法与相关的构词法知识去记忆，或者缺乏科学的学习方法，课前不会预习，对不懂的内容不做记号，或者课堂上根本就不知道听哪些内容，听什么，课后作业照抄等。

于是，前一节课学的到下一节课就忘了；今天学的到明天便忘了。

如果中学英语课堂上教师们既研究教材，认真备课，重视教法，又结合学生的实际情况，按照不同层次学生的个体差异，满足不同学习者的需要实施分层教学(将班级学生界定为优、中、差或A、B、C三个层次)。

那么，新教材下的初中英语课堂教学才会统一完整，才会取得最大的教学效果。
