The unit 1 examines different kind of friendship. It's not only explores friendship between people but also pays particular attention to the friendship one can develop with oneself. In the other words, it shows how a person find comfort and support with an imaginary friend. In these reading from The Diary of Anne Frank, students will see how a lonely and frightened teenager copes with a very unusually stressful situation.She dose this by confiding in Kitty, the name of her diary. Anne didn't want to set a series of facts in diary as most people do, but she want her diary to be her friend. So Anne called her diary Kitty. She examines her problems and tries to find a way to deal with them. II. Teaching important and difficult pointsTeaching important pointsa.
