一、教学目标
1. 学习掌握下列词汇及短语:repeat, note, physics, chemistry, pronounce, increase, speed,
partner, take notes, make mistakes, get…right
2. 掌握重点句型:
(1) —How do you learn English?
—I learn by studying with a group.
(2) —Do you learn English by reading aloud?
—Yes, I do. It helps my pronunciation.
(3) —How can I read faster?
—You can read faster by reading word groups.
(4) —How can I improve my pronunciation?
—One way is by listening to tapes.
(5) — I don’t have a partner to practice English with?
— Maybe you should join an English club.
3. 能用英语表达在英语学习上的问题和解决方法。
4. 能从听力材料中听懂有关于英语学习方面的挑战和获取解决办法。
5. 通过引导学生总结自己和了解同伴的学习方法,帮助学生相互交流和借鉴彼此的学习方法。同时引导学生谈论学习中的困难及解决的办法,提高学习英语的信心。

重点:1. 掌握本单元出现的词汇、短语及目标语言。
2. 用how引导的特殊疑问句来询问方式、方法。
难点:1. 准确理解和运用how用于提问方式的特殊疑问句。
Unit 5 Fun Clubs
第一课时 Section A(1a—1d)
教学目标
1.重点单词:club,join,choose,drama,feeling
2.重点短语:play Chinese chess
3.重点句型:
—Hello! I want to join ...
—Great! Can you ...?
—Yes, I can./No, I can’t.
重点:能够说出学校里常见社团的英文名称,谈论不同社团的常见活动。
难点:理解can表达能力的不同句式,并在口语对话中模仿使用相关句型展开交流。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
(1)Ask the Ss to look at the picture on Page 51 and the questions:
What are the students in the photo doing?
What club do you think they are in?
Do you want to join this club?
(2)Ask some Ss to share their answers.
(3)Ask the Ss to answer the question:What other clubs do you know?
(4)Guide the Ss to learn about some other clubs,such as art club,science club,drama
club,music club,chess club and ping-pong club.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1a Match the pictures with the clubs.
(1)look at the six pictures carefully and talk about what are they doing.

重点:(1)能够识别和运用家庭成员的词汇,理解这些词汇所指代的人物关系,能够区分英语和汉语中家庭成员名称的异同。
(2)能够套用听力对话中的句式相互询问和介绍家人,并传递情感信息。
难点:(1)能够结合所听内容和图片信息理解名词所有格表达的所属关系。
(2)能够基于所听内容判断对话语境,梳理人物关系并记录重要信息。
教学过程:
Step 1 Lead-in
1.Show the picture of the family having dinner to the Ss.Then ask them to answer the
following questions:
(1)What are they doing?
(2)How do they feel?
(3)What is their relationship?
2.Let the students discuss with each other. The T can give some tips.Then ask some
students to share their answers.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1a Match the definitions with members of the family.
(1)Ask the students to translate the expressions in 1a into Chinese.
(2)Ask them to match the definitions with members of the family.
