Last Sunday, I had an accident．I cut one of my fingers carelessly when I helped my mother
cut up the carrots．The cut was not serious so my mother didn’t take me to the hospital．
First，she let me run my hand under cool water to clean that finger．Second，she put the
gauze on the cut and pressed it until the blood stopped．Finally she put some medicine on the cut
and put a bandage on it．Now I’m feeling much better．

It was a terrible day yesterday
In the morning，I was late for school and left my English homework at home．My teacher was
very angry and I felt bad all day．
At 4：30，school was over．I was waiting for the bus when it began to rain heavily．I didn’t
