一、教材分析
本课内容是新标准小学英语第八册Module7 Unit1 He spent about twenty-one hours in space.本模块的教学内容是介绍人物的生平事迹。
课文内容是围绕着杨利伟的故事展开的,介绍他的儿子所写的有关于杨利伟事迹的文章,初步掌握过去时的用法。
主要任务是向小组成员介绍自己的榜样人物的生平事迹,是对这一话题的口头输出练习。
学完本模块,程度好的学生能用简单的英语向他人讲述杨利伟的故事,程度差的学生应能掌握新单词,读熟课文。
二、教学目标
1、Knowledge aims:
①能够听懂、会说、会认、会读新单词:spent (spend), video , proud , flew (fly) , someday
并能够完全掌握。
②能够灵活运用并练习短语:be proud of..../ be famous for..../ travel all over the world等短语。
③能够掌握并运用句子:He spent about twenty-one hours in space. In October 2003,My father flew into space in Shenzhou V.
2、Ability aims:
①熟练掌握过去时态,能够运用过去式来描述图片或故事。
②Describing a person’s life.
③学会简单地复述课文,并尝试阅读英语故事。
2、Emotion aims:
通过讲述杨利伟和Helen Keller的故事,激发并强化学生的学习兴趣,引导他们逐渐将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机。
Be a useful man.(做一个有用的人)从而达到情感目标. 三、教学重难点:
重点:进一步复习一般过去时的运用,对还没有完全掌握的学生,给他们更多巩固和运用的机会,并帮助有能力的学生进行适当的拓展。
难点:会描述一个人的生平事迹。

Step2:Presentation
1.Can you talk about him?
2.Ask students to report their preview situation. ●Greetings
●Free talk
●They answer:Yang liwei
●Talk about his story as soon as posibol in Chinese.
●Choose some students to report and talk about her/his method.
Then present new words:spent (spend), video , proud , flew (fly) , someday
3.Ask students to find out some verbs of simple past tence.
4.Present the phrases:
Then learn these phrases:be famous for , fly into space , Make a video , come back , be proud of
Step3:Practice
1.Play the tape and ask the questions.
①When did Shenzhou V flew into space?
② Who is Yang Liwei?
③ How many hours did he spend in
space?
④What did he make in space?
2.Read the text.
3.How to describe Yang liwei in this passage?
4.Write down some words and phrases on the blackboard.
Step4:Consolidation
1.T:Yang Liwei’s son was proud of him. And his son has got a dream.Do you know other some famous person?
2.Tell more the students about Shenzhou spaceship and Yang Liwei’s story.
Step5:Summary
Can you tell me what you learn in this lessen? Step6:Homework
小组合作,共同搜集或查找一位名人的伟大事迹,然后进行整理,汇报。
