自主合作研究省略一、省略的定义省略是一种防止重复、保持句子简短的语法现象。
凡是缺乏一个或一个以上的必需语言成分,在必定语境中能够独立存在,意义明确,并且能发挥社交功能的句子就是省略句。
一般说来,只需不损坏语法构造或许惹起歧义,能省略的就应省略。
省略不单使句子构造显得紧凑,并且也是分句和分句之间的承接纽带。
二、省略的用法1.并列句中的省略一般说来,在后一并列句中凡是与上文同样的成分往常都可省略。
I came at eight but Henry (came)at nine.我八点来的,但亨利是在九点来的。
2.复合句中的省略(1)在定语从句中,假如关系代词在定语从句中作宾语,这个关系代词能够省略。
He's the man (who/that)you can safely depend on.他是你能放心信任的人。
(2) 在状语从句中,假如从句的主语和主句的主语一致,且状语从句中含有be 动词时,省略状语从句中的主语和 be 动词。
假如从句的主语是 it,且状语从句中含有 be 动词,可省略主语 it 和动词 be。
When (the novel is) published,the novel will become one of the best sellersof the year.那本小说第一版的时候就会成为当年的热销书之一。
I will go to New York to visit you if (it is) possible.假如有可能的话,我将去纽约去看你。
(3)指引宾语从句的 that 一般状况下,能够省略。
但假如宾语从句中含有两个和两个以上的从句,则从第二个 that 起,不可以省略。
