Ethernet LAN function of CPU cards/Boards
System setup :
1. LAN system : Ethernet node.
2. LAN OS : UNIX, Novell Netware, Microsoft LAN Manager, D-Link LAN Smart, or compatible
3. Utility programs : Depends on LAN chipset, RSET8009.EXE, RSET8029.EXE, DIAG7C.EXE etc.
The Program can be found out on CPU card utility disk.
4. When LAN system is not available : To short the following 10 BASE-T pins,
RX+ to TX +
RX - to TX -
5. Run utility program to setup LAN I/O base address, IRQ level and avoid to confilct with another
hardware setting.

Debug steps :
1. Select "Run Diagnostics" on utility program; Select "Run Diagnostics on Board" Board reset, I/O
register, Loop back test, Cable connection and RAM test will be done by this selection.
All test are failure - LAN chipset is damaged. ( 95% of faulty cards have chipset damage)
RAM test failure - LAN SRAM is damaged. (or LAN chipset )
Cable connection failure - LAN discounction or bad contact on connector

2. Log in LAN system and run program for a while to ensure LAN stability
