Step 1 Warming up and lead-in
1. Listen to the tape and answer the following questions.
(1) What’s Eddie thinking about?
(2) What does he want Hobo to help him to do?
2. Ask the students to repeat after the tape to find if there are any difficulties.
3. Pair work. Get them to work in pairs to practise the conversation by role playing
Eddie and Hobo.
