A hero lies in you
Recently I have heard of lots of stories about various kinds of heroes, famous or ordinary, all of them have evoked my contemplation of the word “hero”.
From the text book, the 17-year veteran named Falzo, who saved two children from being killed by the speeding train, is undoubtedly a hero. He is represented a group of people, who share a joint name, “rescuer”. We can still remember those terrible days when the earthquake happened in Wenchuan. The whole nation sank into the hole of grief. However, there was no time for them to be depressed. For them a second means a life. Since no cars and airplanes were available to the quake-stricken area, they chose to walk regardless of the obstacles and the distresses of the aftershock. No enough food to eat, no clean water supplied, however, as for them, it did n’t matter. What came first for them was the still alive under the ruins. The teammates aren’t the specialists of rescue, and the team consists of all walks of life, including some survivors of the Tangshan earthquake. The similar experience made them together; the same feelings of the calamities drove them to be grateful to give a favor to another “themselves”, they just delivered the warmth and love between strangers. They just did the things they thought without hesitation. They must be heroes as opposed to those
standing aside with cold eyes.
Once I have dreamed to be a doctor, because this can help me enrich my knowledge of rescue. Thus, there is the possibility to become an international volunteer of the regions suffering from poverty, disease, and even war. But only then did I realize that whatever you do, there is a chance for you to “be a ordinary hero”, to help, to donate, or just to be sympathetic to convey the belief “disasters are heartless, people are in love.”
What’s more, there is another kind of hero that I admire a lot; it is the person like Christopher Reeve, a real superman. In my eyes, there is no denying calling him a hero, not only because of his success of the actor career, but also his positive attitude towards life, which made him a real hero.
A month ago, I came across a song called hero sang by Mariah Carey.

How luckily I encountered this song. It serves as a kind of courage whenever I recall it. As the melody goes by, I will always trust, from the deep of my heart, lies a hero. The time when you feel it is hard to continue, the time when it seems everything goes wrong, the time everyone seems to stand in your opposite, believe, it is the time that the hero from within woke up, and you can survive. Never give up.
The same time, please be ready to give others a hand without hesitation. Don’t think the strength of one person makes no difference; the hero that lies in you will create a miracle.。
