Unit4 Lesson21 优质课教案一、Analysis of teaching materials这是第四单元第三课阅读课，围绕books or computers 展开话题。
阅读是一个单元语言输入较为集中的环节，阅读中的教学活动主要围绕阅读材料本身的内容展开。
阅读后的活动旨在让学生通过完成问题、辩论和语言难点的学习等形式进一步加深对文章的理解。
同时，通过本课阅读的学习，教育学生做一个爱读书的人，并且通过对中国古四大发明的了解，热爱我们的祖国。
二、Analysis of students初二学生已具备一定的英语语言表达能力，所以教师可以设计一些学生自主表达的环节，比如与本课内容有关的话题讨论等，但因为学生基础稍差的实际情况，语言准确性会差些，教师要及时引导。

Students need to finish only one question:What’s the main idea of this passage?（此环节是让学生初读课文，目的是训练快速阅读技巧，学生以较快的速度完成阅读，迅速找到答案，为后面的进一步学习奠定基础。

How?Step 3. New lesson.（新课）No. 1 Prepare lessons before class.Teach the new words and phrases. Make sure the Ss can read it correctly.No. 2. Text: Give them some time to read the text themselves.
