金花茶Golden Camellia
一、简介 Introduction
金花茶，发源于一亿七千万年前，第四纪冰川时期遗留下来的原始山茶遗珍，国家一级珍稀
保护植物。
Golden camellia, originated from one hundred and seventy million years ago, the legacy of the
original camellia treasures from the Quaternary glacial period ,is a one-level national rare
protective plant.

金花茶在国内有“茶族皇后”、“植物界中的大熊猫”之美称，国外亦称之为“幻想中的黄色
山茶”、“神奇的东方魔茶”，是世界上稀有的珍贵植物。
Golden Camellia, has reputation of “the queen of tea race " and " giant panda in the plant
kingdom ”in China. Abroad, known as " the fantasy of Yellow Camellia" and "magical Oriental tea",

传说，中国有一种开金黄色花朵的山茶，久服可提神益气、延年益寿。
“药圣”李时珍穷搜博采，毕其一生亦未能找到。年迈之时，在《本草纲目》中写道：
“山茶产南方„„或云亦有黄色山茶者”。
19世纪中叶，“植物猎人”罗伯特受英国皇家园艺学会派遣，来华搜寻黄色山茶也未能
如愿。
20世纪40年代，日本花卉专家津山尚为寻找黄色山茶，踏遍南方丛林，空手而归。
It is said that there is a kind of golden camellia in China. If you take it for a long time you can

"Saint" Li Shizhen wanted to collect it but was unable find it all his life. In his old age, he wrote in
his《Compendium of Materia Medica》that, "camellia comes from the southern China".
In the middle of the nineteenth century, "the plant hunters" Robert was sent by the Royal
Horticultural organization to search the golden camellia. But he also failed.
In 1940s, Japanese flower expert Jin Shanshang also failed to find it.
1960年，我国科学工作者首次在中国南方发现了一种金黄色的山茶花，被命名为“金花茶”。
金花茶的首次发现轰动了全球园艺界、新闻界，受了国内外园艺学家的高度重视。
In 1960, Chinese scientists found a kind of golden camellia, which was named the "golden

四、饮用方法 Drinking Method
金花茶花朵泡法：将花朵放置500毫升开水杯子中泡5—10分钟，然后根据个人喜好可加少
许冰糖方可饮用。一朵金花茶花朵可重复泡2—3次。

personal preferences you may add a little sugar before drinking. A single flower can be infused
