《A postcard from New York》教学设计一、概述本节课是小学六年级的一堂英语课。
本节课所需课时为1课时,40分钟;该课主要是培养学生的英语写作能力和应用语言能力的课。
针对教材的特点和学生的特点,我在设计课时本着“激趣、创新、应用、拓展”的原则做了如下尝试:其一,根据《基础教育课程改革纲要》和《英语课程标准》灵活处理教材。
其二,充分利用多媒体资源,优化课堂教学。
其三,补充教学卡片、图片、板书等。
其四,充分利用和开发英语课程资源。
采用任务型的教学途径,力求通过多样化的操练创设空间培养学生的兴趣和自主学习能力。
二、教学目标:1、知识与技能:能够运用have/has got谈论自己或他人拥有的物品;运用Have you got… ?询问他人拥有的物品;运用and和but表达自己意思的递进、并列和转折。
2、过程与方法:通过采用pairwork,games 以及中西方文化对比来学习本单元内容。
3、情感态度价值观:通过学习使学生了解不同国家的文化并正确看待中西方文化的差异。
三、教学重难点:重点:运用have/has got谈论自己或他人拥有的物品;运用Have you got… ?询问他人拥有的物品。
难点:准确区分have got/has got 四、教学过程:(一).Warming-up1. Greetings: T: How are you? Are you ready for our English class? Ss: Yes, I am .2. Review: T: We all have hobbies. What’s your hobby? Ss:My hobby is …. Ss: …(复习部分主要是唤起学生已有的知识,为主题作铺垫)(二)Presentation: 1. Guessing games:T: Do you know my hobbies? Ss: No.T:Look!Collecting cards is my hobby. I have got lots of cards.(Show them quickly)They’re animals cards,fruit cards,food cards,….Please guess what cards do I have. You can use “Have you got a/an …card?” to ask me and I just answer“Yes,I have.”“No,I haven’t.”(板书) 2. S1: Have you got a/an …card?T: Yes,I have. (Give him/her the cards.) S2: Have you got a/an …card? T: No,I haven’t. …3.T: I have got a banana card. Have you got a banana card, S1? S1: No, I haven’t.T: Have you got a pencil card? S1: Yes, I have.T: Yes. She/He has got a pencil card. (板书)T:Practice in the group,now.(通过Guessing games的方式激发学生的学习兴趣,达到“学中玩,玩中学”,及时复习旧知并引出新知. 并通过小组练习体会have got与has got的区别)4.T:My hobby is collecting cards. So I have got lots of cards. And I have got another hobby.(Show some postcards)Look! What are they? Ss: They are postcards.T: Yes. Collecting postcards is my another hobby. So my new pen friend send me a postcard. Do you want to have a look? Ss: Yes. T:(Show a postcard)Look at this postcard!It’s beautiful. It’s a postcard of Australia’s kangaroo. Do you know kangaroos? Ss: Yes.“daishu”.T:(PPT show the picture of the kangaroo)It’s an animal. It’s a famous animal from Australia. Ss read the word “kangaroo”(板书) T: Do you know the animal of China?Ss: Pandas.(T show the picture of the panads)(通过澳大利亚kangaroo与中国panda的对比学习,让学生体会不同国家的差异)5.T: Now, let’s look at this postcard from my pen friend Linda. And what does Linda say? (PPT show the postcard and T read)Ss:Linda says“I have got a knife and fork and I can use them well. We have got some kangaroos in Australia. They’re cute,but they’re tall.”T: What are knife and fork? (T show a picture of a knife and fork) Ss look and learn the words“knife”“fork”(板书)T: Yes,Linda uses the knife and fork in Australia. How about ours? Ss: We use chopsticks.(T show the picture of the chopsticks and learn .)(再次通过学习knife and fork和chopsticks使学生了解不同国家的文化并正确看待中西方文化的差异)Ss:read the sentence 6.T: Look,“and”“but”are red,do you know why?What’s the different of these two words?(T drow two signs to help Ss understand) Ss: read the letterT:Let’s do some exercises about “and”“but”.(On book page 23) Ss read the sentences of postcard.T: Don’t forget the address .(强调地址的写法: 从小到大) (三) Practice:T:Linda hopes I can visit Australia someday. Do you want to go with me?Let’s make a list. What will we take?Please draw them on the paper.Ss draw the picture,then ask and answer in a group use “Have you got …? I have got …. She/He has got… .” (四). Text-learning1. T: I have got a postcard,and Sam and Amy have got a postcard,too. Let’s see it together. And answer me“What does Daming have?What does Laura have?” Ss listen and answer.T:Yes. Daming has got a Chinese kite and they fly it in the park. Laura has got some chopsticks,but they are difficult.(板书) Ss say the different of “and”“ but”again .再次强调两词的不同 T: What’s the meaning of “difficult”?Ss say the meaning.(虽然已经学过夲词,但在此需要再次强调与different的不同) Ss:read the text in pairs and circle the words(have got,has got) 2. T: Ok, Let’s listen to tape and read the text after the tape . Ss: read the text one sentence by sentence after the tape. (五). Production (show the incomplete letter)T: Linda sent me a postcard. So I send her one,too.(PPT show the postcard) Ss read it together.T: If you are Sam or Amy now, please write to Laura.You can complete the postcard by yourself.Don’t forget to write the address.一、热身复习(1)有节奏的颂唱上一单元的歌曲。
(2)Greetings.(3)教师拿一个水果放进事先准备好的包里。
然后用英语进行描述,学生猜一猜,看是哪种水果。
T: I have got a fruit . It`s circle. Maybe everyone has eaten it . Sometimes ,It`s yellow .Sometimes ,it`s red . What is it ? Ss: It`s an apple .T: Yes , I have got an apple . What have you got ?Ss:学生拿出自己的物品并运用“I have got…”进行语言表述。
