It is generally accepted by college students that the main difference between middle school and college life lies in the degree of independence. As for me, I prefer the more independent life in university for the following three reasons.First and foremost, since the very day I entered the university, I have learned to live on my own and cultivated the habit of solving problems by myself. Without parents company, I have learned to arrange my daily meals for myself, wash clothes, set financial plans and make decisions relying on myself. Besides, college life is academically different from that in middle schools. Teachers in university only give students due guidance at due time, which renders college students more freedom to set academic goals. What¡¯s more, we can choose any courses we are interested in and the teachers whose teaching styles are to our preference. Last but not least, we enjoy more free extracurricular time. We can make good use of the free time to broaden our views and make more friends. In conclusion, I am leading a life that is quite different from that in middle school, and I enjoy more independence in university. To the freshmen, I would suggest they devise various methods to adjust themselves to such an independent lifestyle sooner.。
My College LifeStepping into the threshold of my college, I was overwhelmed by a sense of excitement and anticipation. The vibrant atmosphere, filled with the sounds of laughter and discussion, instantly captivated me. My college life was a journey of exploration, growth, and the pursuit of knowledge.Academically, college was a significant leap from high school. The courses were more rigorous and the professors demanded a higher level of critical thinking and analysis. Initially, I found it challenging to adjust to the pace and intensity of the courses, but with time, I learned to manage my time effectively and develop strong study habits.I also discovered my passion for certain subjects, such as literature and history, which led me to delve deeper into these fields and expand my horizons.Outside the classroom, college provided an abundance of opportunities for personal growth and development. I joined several clubs and participated in various events, which allowed me to meet people from diverse backgrounds and explore new interests. I also volunteered in communityservice projects, which gave me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and the ability to work with people of different cultures and perspectives. Moreover, college was a time of self-discovery. It was during this phase of my life that I began to understand myself better, my strengths, weaknesses, and passions. I explored various career paths and internships, which helped me gain clarity on my future goals and aspirations. I also learned to manage my emotions and navigate through the challenges and setbacks that came my way.The social aspect of college life was also a highlight.I made lasting friendships with classmates and roommates, who became my support system during the good and bad times. We shared stories, laughed, cried, and celebrated together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.Looking back, my college life was a transformative experience that shaped me into the person I am today. It taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of pursuing my passions. It also instilled in mea sense of responsibility and the understanding that every decision I make has an impact on my future. As I move forward in my career and life, I will carrythe lessons and memories of my college life with me. Theywill serve as a reminder of the challenges I have overcome, the growth I have achieved, and the friendships I have cherished. My college life was not just an academic pursuit; it was a journey of personal growth and discovery that Iwill forever be grateful for.**我的大学生活**踏入大学门槛的那一刻,我充满了激动和期待。
The Main Difference between My College Life and My Middle School LifeBefore students enter the university, they all want to know the main difference between college life and middle school life. According to my experience, college life has more freedom than the life in middle school. As for me , I prefer the more free life in university for the following three reasons. First, our studying becomes unconstrained. At the middle school, we spend most of our time studying. We have many courses and a lot of work waiting for us to complete. We try our best to study because we all want to go to better universities. But in university, it’s different. We have more time not only for studying but also for many other things. Scores are not the only standard for our life. Besides, we have more freedom in our daily life. In middle school, we always controlled by our parents and teachers. However, we can arrange our time without parents’company in college life. Last but not least, we enjoy more free extracurricular time. The only thing we can do in middle school is studying. We have no spare time to do what we want to do. But it’s totally different in our college life. We have more free time to take part in various kinds of activities, such as dancing, playing different kinds of balls, which make our life more colorful and meaningful. To sum up, I am leading a life that is quite different form that in middle school, and I enjoy the free life in university. To the freshman, I wouldsuggest they should have a schedule for their college life even it has more freedom.。
College Life Versus Middle School Life When I stepped into college, the fresh air blew into my college life, which was extremely different from middle school life. The various experiences in college life, to some extent, brought about a large number of new ideas. These new ideas not only helped me in broadening my horizons, but also made me mature. Substantially, compared with middle school life, I primarily made changes in the following aspects.Firstly, the target of study differs from each other. In order to enter an excellent university, we had to burn our oil every day with little time to relax ourselves. In addition, our parents always chattered to us about the importance of being admitted into a well-known university. In comparison, college education pays more attention to heighten students’ability and improve our professional skills. Moreover, in most of the time, I study on my own initiative as well as arrange everything reasonably instead of being forced.Secondly, there is an obvious change on living expense as well. In the past, I took no more than 10 Yuan every day. If it had been necessary to turn over any expense, I would have asked for money from my parents. And also, I didn’t know exactly my expenses per month in total. Nowadays, I am used to keeping accounts to take control of the expense per month. In addition, doing part-time jobs are also benefit to increase living expenses. I still remember the first class in which I plucked up mycourage to deliver the speech in front of lots of children and their parents, and how excited I was when I received my first salary.Last but not least, we should undertake different responsibilities in each period. For middle school students, the cardinal task was to get high marks so that we could be admitted into an upper leveled school. We should ensure that our parents have less trouble as far as possible. On the contrary, along the way, there are something else for us to think over. We need to consider what kind of career we want to start. Moreover, I should avoid living so far away from my parents for the sake of taking care of them conveniently in the future. To sum up, college life is a completely new picture scroll which is unfolding in the front of me. Compared with college life, middle school life mainly differs in the target of study, living expenses and responsibilities. As time passed by, accumulating more valuable experience will help me learn independence and lay down definite plans for tomorrow. In my opinion, that is the significance of learning the differences between middle school life and college life.。

This cultural exchange will not only broaden my horizons but also teach me valuable lessons about different ways of thinking and living. I am eager to make friends with peers who share my passions and interests, as well as those who can challenge my perspectives and help me grow.Academically, I anticipate a rigorous yet rewarding experience. I am looking forward to delving into my chosen field of study and exploring new areas of knowledge. I believe that the freedom and flexibility of college will allow me to pursue my interests more deeply and discover new passions. Additionally, I am excited about the opportunity to engage in research and projects that can contribute to society and further my academic career. Moreover, I see college as a time for personal growth and development. I plan to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available on campus to develop my leadership skills, enhance my communication abilities, and build my self-confidence. My College And Middle School LifeI became a freshman in college in september this year and everything was so amazing for me. Now I want to talk over the issue about it.There is a lot of differences between the life in middle school and in college and they make us change a lot.In college ,each student has his spare time and more freedom. We have much time to do what we want to do. There are fewer classes everday than middle school life.We should arrange our own time by ourselves. Also,we have a lot of activies and we can take part in them to develop hobbies. As a matter of fact, study is not the only topic any more in college. We should have our own judgement and know what to do because we are not children anymore. There are plenty of books in library and even you cannot finish all of them when you graduate. In middle school, we have no time but to prepare for the College Enterance Examination and we cannot think about anything else. Our shool life is filled with exams and homework. When students have classes at middleschool, they could not do anything else except listening to the teacher. To sum up, middle school and college are two different periods in our life. The former is basic and need we spend more time on accumulating knowledge ,and we should absorb experience in college.Besides differences, they also share some similaries. We must pay attention to our study and put our study to the first place .All in all,the college and middle school life will be my precious momery.共265字公管学院公共关系111班郭宁学号;71021110022011.10.21。

My College Life and Middle School Life
As every college student would agree, life in college is not the same as it was in the middle school .The remarkable differences between them, from my perspective, are the following aspects.
In the first place, the main difference lies in the degree of independence. In college,I enjoy a great degree of independence.I live on my own:wash my own clothes, buy my own food, look after myself.I make daily decisions of my own will. Moreover, I depend heavily on myself in my study.I have plenty of free time outside the class. In contrast,I lived a dependent life in the middle school. My parents were responsible for my daily life so that I did not have to worry about food, clothing.Nor did I have to plan much for my study. My teacher had almost everything in store for me.What I needed to do was to swallow it and digest it.The harder I worked under the teacher’s instruction, the greater my progress.By comparison,I would say I love the independent life now. After all, I am already an adult.
What is more, they are different with regards to learning style. As the middle school student ,we are forced to do some boring tasks and have no choices to pick up our interested subjects and learning contents. We are tired and have no motivation to do anything. On the contrary, the way we learn is more active in college.College students can manage their study time by themselves. We can join the class and talk about our own opinion. We are abled to take part in something we like to do ,which is hard to learn in middle school.
To sum up,I live a quite different life in college from that in my middle school in that I am much more responsible for my own life and study.I think I can adapt to the different period of my life and make most use of it!。
