last Friday our class invited an old man to teach us why to make dough
figurines( 面人). When he comes into our classroom, we gave him warm welcome and two boys helped him with the tool box. First, he showed us basic steps and skills of made dough figurines. We stood around him and watched careful. Then we started to have a try ourselves. The old man walked around and helped with us patiently. Finally, we put the figurines what we made on the table and took several picture with the old man. Look at the figurines, we were all very excited. We believe we could have more activities of this kind in the future.

Hello Lingui,
How are you
I’m delig hting to fly to Beijing soon for a two-week holiday and I’m really looking forward to see you. Of course, I wish to see some place of interest there, like the Great wall and the Summer Palace. I know there are a number other ancient buildings and attractive places to see. I recently learn about the great changes in china over the past a few years. The new cities have grown so quick and the old cities have changed so much, but I’ m sure there will be a great deal to see. By the way, I wish I can have a chance to see the Beijing Opera.
Would you Please suggest some places to go in Beijing so as I can have a wonderful holiday
Lots of love, Tina.

For a Senior Two student, time seems very limited. As a result, great many students try to seize every minute to studying from early morning till late afternoon, even during the ten-minute break. In my opinion, taking a ten-minute break between class is necessary. Otherwise, we will feel very tiring. During the ten-minute break, we can do something to get rid of tiredness. That we need is to have a real rest instead of getting more tired. So doing nothing tiring on that period is really good for us. My ten-minute break is always being pleasing. Sometimes I do some simple exercises. Sometimes I have a free chat with my classmates but just take a walk outside. When the next class began, I feel fresh both physically and mental again.

The other day my parents and I went back to our hometown, that I spent my childhood. Walking slowly in the quietly small town reminded me for the good old days. I went from street to street in the search of my childhood memories. Suddenly , I found me at the gate of the primary school in which I studied for six years. As I went in , I was surprised find that the old classroom building was gone. But it was filling with my childhood memories. I felt very sad that tears ran down my cheek. It was just like the feeling I had when a good friend leave me forever.

When I first came to England, I know little English . As you can probably guess it, my life was difficulty for a time. Simple tasks like ordering food or take a taxi were quite stressful. I signed up for classes and studied on my own as well, so I made poor
