• 完形填空是高考英语试卷中的常见题型，也是难度系数较高的一种题型。这 种题型被专家称为障碍性阅读，虽然材料通常是简单的故事类短文，但是对 于高中生来说，理解这些含有空缺单词的短文往往是没有把握的，甚至会感 觉困难较大，望“题”生畏。完形填空题型综合性极强，对考生的能力要求非 常高，既要求语法、词汇、习语、句型、搭配等基础知识的综合运用能力， 又要求短文的阅读理解能力。

• 近几年的高考完形填空题主要考查考生对上下文的理解，要求考生通过语 境来作出选择。“语境能力型”试题具有相当难度，因为完形填空所给的四个 选项往往在语法方面都能成立，错误选项多半可以和空前、空后文字形成某 种搭配，极具干扰和迷惑作用。做完形填空题，需要我们立足语篇环境，树 立全局观念，瞻前顾后，连贯思维，从语境角度来选择答案。
