倍数表达法是历届高考的热点。
当我们要表达甲是乙的几倍时，通常可使用以下句型：1.倍数+as+形容词或副词的原级+as+其它。
这种结构又常演变成下列两类：①倍数+as+many+可数名词复数+as;②倍数+as+much+不可数名词+as。
如：There are seven times as many people as I expected.是我预料的人数的七倍。
There is five times as much coffee in this glass as in that one.这个杯子里的咖啡是那个杯子里的五倍。
2.倍数+形容词（或副词）的比较级+ than+其它。
如：The hall is five times bigger than our classroom.这个大厅的面积比我们教师大五倍。
3.倍数+the size/height/length/.+of+其它。
如：This road is six times the length of that one.这条路是那条路的六倍长。
4.计量名词+of+名词+be+倍数+that+of+其它。
如：The size of the newly broadened square is four times that of the previous one.新扩建的广场为以前的四倍大。
》5.倍数+what从句。
如：The production is now three times what it was ten years ago.现在的产量是十年前的三倍。
6.倍数+more+名词+than+其它。
如：There are nine times more books in his bag than in yours.他书包里的书比你书包里的书多九倍。
7.其它表达。
如：She's twice/double my age.她的年龄是我的两倍。

形容词most前面没有the，不表示最高级的含义，只表示"非常"。
倍数表达法是历届高考的热点。

5.倍数+what从句。
如：The production is now three times what it was ten years ago.现在的产量是十年前的三倍。
6.倍数+more+名词+than+其它。
如：There are nine times more books in his bag than in yours.他书包里的书比你书包里的书多九倍。
7.其它表达。
如：She's twice/double my age.她的年龄是我的两倍。
英语倍数的表达方法英语倍数的表达方法有3种：倍数+as+形容词或副词原级+as、倍数+形容词或副词比较级+than、计量名词+of+名词+be+倍数+that+of。
一、倍数+as+形容词或副词原级+as这种方法用于表示两个事物之间的倍数关系，通常用于同类可比较的事物。
例如：This room is three times as big as that one，这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。
He can run twice as fast as me，他能跑得比我快两倍。
She has four times as many books as I do，她有的书是我有的书的四倍多。
注意，如果形容词或副词后面有名词，要根据名词的可数性和单复数来决定是否加a/an或many/much。
例如：He earns five times as much money as I do，他赚的钱是我赚的钱的五倍。
（money是不可数名词，所以用much）She is twice as old as her brother，她的年龄是她弟弟的两倍。
（old后面没有名词，所以不加a/an）This box is three times as heavy as a normal one，这个盒子是普通盒子的三倍重。
（heavy后面有一个可数名词单数，所以加a）二、倍数+形容词或副词比较级+than这种方法也用于表示两个事物之间的倍数关系，但是更强调其中一个事物的特征。
例如：This car is three times faster than that one，这辆车比那辆车快三倍。
The population of China is four times larger than that of the United States，中国的人口是美国的四倍多。
He spent twice more time on this project than I did，他在这个项目上花了比我多两倍的时间。
1、倍数+比较级...(1) 倍数as...as (意思是“A是B的几倍”。
)I am twice as old as he. 我的年纪是他的两倍。
He earns twice as much as he used to. 他比往常多赚二倍的钱。
(2) 倍数+比较级(意思是:A是B的几倍)Line A is four times the length of line B. 线条A 是线条B 的四倍长。
I have five times the number of Tom’s books. 我有五倍于汤姆的书。
(3) 使用more...than 比较级的例句:He earns five times more money than he did ten years ago. 他现在挣的钱比十年前挣的多5 倍。
There are twice more students in our class than in theirs. 我们班的学生人数比他们班多两倍。
(4) 比较级也可使用分数、小数等数字。
The box is one-third bigger than that one. 这个盒子比那个盒子大三分之一。
Last year the output value of industry was 59 percent higher than that of 1976. 去年工业产值比1976 年增长了59 %。
(5) 在比较级前，还可以用over，more thant 等表示“比……倍还要多”。
It was over twice the distance of the earth from the sun. 那是地球到太阳的距离的两倍多。
He has more than three times my money. 他的钱是我的三倍还不止。
2、倍数+the 度量词of...The earth is 49 times the size of the moon. 地球的体积是月球的49 倍。
英语中“倍数”的常用表达方式徐忠一、用times 表示倍数（一般限于包括基数在内三倍或三倍以上的数。
表示两倍的数，一般用twice ）。
其句式有：1. “…times ＋形容词/ 副词的比较级＋than …”例如：Line AB is three times longer than line CD.线段AB 是（线段）CD 的三倍长。
This hall is five times bigger than our classroom.这个大厅比我们的教室大5 倍。
2. “…times +as + 形容词/ 副词的原级＋as …”例如：This table is three times as long as that one.这张桌子是那张桌子的三倍长。
This dictionary is five times as thick as the one you borrowed from the library.这本词典的厚度是你从图书馆借的那本（厚度）的5 倍。
3. “…times + the + 名词（如：size，height，weight，length，width 等）＋of …”例如：The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.地球的体积是月球的49 倍。
This river is three times the depth of that one.这条河是那条河的三倍深。
4. “…times + more ＋名词＋than …”例如：He earns five times more money than he did ten years ago.他现在挣的钱比十年前挣的多 5 倍。
There are twice more students in our class than in theirs.我们班的学生人数比他们班多两倍。
5. “…times +as many （或much ）＋名词＋as …”例如：We've produced twice as much cotton this year as （we did ）ten years ago.今年我们生产的棉花比十年前多了一倍。
比较级和倍数表达[精选5篇]第一篇：比较级和倍数表达1)The audience was no less than five thousand.听众有五千人之多。
2)That hotel probably costs no less than 20 dollars a night.那间旅馆的住宿费大约要20元一晚呢。
3)He is no less a person than a minister他的身分不亚于部长。
not less than不比……差，至少, 至少和…一样 1)I'll stay here not less than three days.我将待在这里至少三天。
2)She is not less beautiful than Mary她至少和玛丽一样美丽。
no more than同样不；仅仅，只有1)He is no more than a worker.他仅仅是个工人。
2)It's no more than a misunderstanding.这只是个误会。
3)It is no more than ten minutes' walk from the station.由车站走到这里只有十分钟的路程。
not more than不比……更，不如；至多1）He is not more diligent than you are.他不象你那样勤奋。
（重点在 you are diligent。
他也勤奋，但不如你勤奋。
）2)I'll stay here not more than three days.我将待在这里最多不超过三天。
ⅡAs well as 作为习语用作介词时，as well as的涵义是“还有”、“不但…而且…”。
值得注意的是，在A as well as B的结构里，语意的重点在A，不在B。
因此，“He can speak Spanish as well as English．”的译文应该是：“他不但会说英语，而且会讲西班牙语”，决不能译作：“他不但会说西班牙语，而且会讲英语”。
英语表示倍数的几种方式用英语表示倍数的五种方法如果要用英语表示A是B的多少倍，可以考虑用以下方法：方法一：数字 + times + as + 原级 + as +比较对象It cost three times as much as I had expected. 它花的钱比我预期的多两倍。
Cats sleep twice as much as people. 猫睡觉的时间比人长一倍。
Unemployment among blacks was twice as high as that for white. 黑人的失业人数是白人的两倍。
New drivers have twice as many accidents as experienced drivers. 新驾驶人所出的事故是老驾驶人的两倍。
There is an entrance hall of perfect proportions, twice as long as it is wide. 有一处比例堪称完美的门廊，长是宽的两倍。
方法二：数字 + times + the size / length / depth / height / width / quantity / amount / etc+ of +比较对象Their house is twice the size of ours. 他们的房子是我们的两倍大。
The queen bee is twice the length of a worker bee. 蜂王的体长为工蜂的两倍。
Many are holding out for ten times the price. 许多人坚持索要10倍于该价格的价钱。
This room is twice the length of the other, but much narrower. 这个房间的长度是那个房间的两倍，但窄得多。
Concorde crosses the Atlantic at twice the speed of sound. 协和飞机以两倍于声速的速度飞越大西洋。
Ⅰ、no less than不亚于，不亚于，竟达……之多1)The audience was no less than five thousand. 听众有五千人之多。
2)That hotel probably costs no less than 20 dollars a night. 那间旅馆的住宿费大约要20元一晚呢。
3) He is no less a person than a minister他的身分不亚于部长。
not less than不比……差，至少, 至少和…一样1)I'll stay here not less than three days. 我将待在这里至少三天。

ⅡAs well as作为习语用作介词时，as well as的涵义是“还有”、“不但…而且…”。
值得注意的是，在A as well as B的结构里，语意的重点在 A，不在 B。
因此，“He can speak Spanish as well as English．”的译文应该是：“他不但会说英语，而且会讲西班牙语”，决不能译作：“他不但会说西班牙语，而且会讲英语”。
如果这样翻译，就是本末倒置了。
as well as和 not only… but also…同义，但前者的语意重点和后者的语意重点恰好颠倒。
如果 as well as用作连词引出比较从句，其义为“和…一样好”。
因此，“He speaks Spanish as well as English．”应译作：“他说西班牙语像说英语一样好”。
语意的重点依旧在前部，不在后半部。
请注意 as well as以下的用法：She called on you as well as I．不但我来看你，她也拜访了你。
She called on you as well as me．她不但拜访了我，也拜访了你。
在下列句中，as well as表示“像…一样”的涵义：She as well as you is an English teacher．她像你一样也是英文教师。
这里的谓语动词用is，不用are，因为句中的主语是she，不是she和you。
As well是副词短语，其义为“也”，相当于too，它一般放在句末，有时和连词and或but搭配使用。
例：He is a worker，and a poet as well．他是工人，但也是诗人。
China possesses enormous quantities of coal and is rich in other minerals as well．中国拥有大量煤炭，其他的矿藏也很丰富。
Mr．Liu can speak English，but he can speak Cantonese as well．先生会说英语，但他也能讲话。
Ⅲ英语倍数表达法用英语表达"A 是 B 的 N 倍长（宽，高，大，重等）"，"A 比 B 长（宽，高，大，重等）N 倍" 或"A 的长度（宽度，高度，大小，重量等）是 B 的 N 倍"，可用下列几种句型。
1."A + be + 倍数 + as + 计量形容词原级 + as + B".This tree is three times as tall as that one. 这棵树是那棵树的三倍高。
His father is twice as old as he. 他父亲的年纪有他两倍大。
2."A + be + 倍数 + 计量形容词比较级 + than + B "The Yangtze River is almost twice longer than the Pearl River.长江差不多比珠江长两倍。
The dictionary is exactly five times more expensive than that one.这本字典比那本恰好贵5倍。
3."A + be + 倍数 + the + 计量名词 + of + B "The newly broadened square is four times the size of the previous one.新扩建的广场是未扩建时的四倍大。
4."The + 计量名词 + of + A + be + 倍数 + that + of + B "The size of the newly broadened square is four times that of the previous one. 新扩建的广场为以前的四倍大。
5.其它I'm twice/ double his age. 我的年龄是他的两倍。
I've paid five times the usual price for the stamp.我出了5倍于往常的价格买这枚邮票。
The average income of the staff has been increased by 50 percent compared with last year. 与去年相比，该单位职工的收入增加了50%.The price of TVs are twofold( adj. 两部分的, 双重的) down over these years. 近几年来，电视机的价格下降了两倍。
Ⅳas/so…as用于原级的比较，但在实际应用中，此结构在不同的语境中含义差异较大。
现把其用法整理归纳如下，以供读者参考。
1、as/so…as结构的基本模式是：as+形容词/副词+as从句a.表示不同人或物同一性质的比较，意为“…和…一样…”。
The tree is as tall as the building(is).这棵树和那栋楼一样高。
John is as bright as Bob(is).约翰和鲍勃一样聪明。
上述两例句的否定形式就分别可改为：（so通常用于否定句中）The tree is not as/so tall as the building.John is not as/so bright as Bob(is).b.表示同一个人或物不同性质的比较，意为“既…又…”She works as happily as(she)plays(happily).她愉快地工作，尽情地玩。
The girl was as brilliant as she was beautiful.这个女孩既漂亮又聪明。
He's not so wise as he is witty.他为人风趣，但欠明智。
The problems are as numerous as(they are)trivial.问题又多又繁琐。
c.用于表示两个人或物不同性质的比较，表示程度相同或相当，意为“…而…”。
He was as handsome as his wife was beautiful.他长得非常英俊，他的妻子也长得非常漂亮。
His uncle was as base and unworthy as his father had been uprightand honorable.他叔叔卑鄙龌龊，不像他父亲那样为人正直。
He was as experienced as his brother was green.他经验丰富，而他兄弟却涉世未深。
2、as/so…as结构的另一种模式是：as/so much/many+名词+as 从句She has written as/so many essays as her brother.(many+可数名词复数).她写的文章篇数和她弟弟一样多。
It is as much your fault as your wife's.这既是你的过错，也是你妻子的过错。
（much+不可数名词）He is as much a hypocrite as John.他跟约翰一样是个伪君子。
另外half, nearly等词常和as/so…as连用，但just, twice/nine times等则只与as…as连用。
He sold nearly as/so many videos as I did.他售出的录像带几乎和我售出的一样多。
You've made just as many mistakes as I have.我和你犯的错误一样多。
We've produced twice as much cotton this year as we did last year.我们今年的棉花产量是去年的两倍。
（倍数+as+much+不可数名词+as从句）The total oil output in the west is 80%as much as that in the east.西部地区的石油总产量是东部地区的百分之八十。
3、as…as结构的另一变体形式是：as+形容词原级+名词词组+asI don't want as expensive a car as this.=I don't want a car as expensive as this.我不要这么贵的汽车。
Notes:a.当as…as与表示重量、数量、时间、距离、价格等的计量名词连用时，往往并不表示比较，而是构成一个形容词组，意为“重达…，多达…，高达…”等。
The river is as deep as10 meters.这条河深达10米。
Frosts often occur as late as May. 往往到5份还有霜。
