聚氨酯(PU)自20世纪40年代出现以来,在涂料、弹性体、泡沫塑料及粘合剂等方面均已获得广泛应用,是一种多功能的聚合物材料,也是发展最快的高分子材料之一。
聚氨酯含有特征单元结构氨基甲酸酯键[1](-NH-CO-),链中含有交替的软链段和硬链段,使得其聚集态结构为多相结构,这决定了聚氨酯涂料优良的耐磨、柔韧等性能。
然而单一的聚氨酯涂料在耐水性、光泽、硬度等方面还不够理想,通过改性可以使其获得更加优异的综合性能。
聚氨酯的改性有两种方式:一种是通过简单的物理方法将具有互补特性的两种或多种树脂混合在一起;另一种是通过化学方法使产品具有两种或多种体系的特性。
有机硅材料具有耐高低温、耐气候老化、耐臭氧、电绝缘、耐燃、无毒、无腐蚀和生理惰性等优异性能,因而是聚氨酯改性产品的理想材料。
将有机硅用于聚氨酯的改性克服了聚氨酯材料的性能缺陷,是扩大聚氨酯应用领域的一条重要途径。
本文探讨了有机硅改性聚氨酯涂料的各种途径,并简要介绍了其应用。
1 溶剂型有机硅改性PU涂料溶剂型涂料目前在高档涂装如高级轿车、飞机蒙皮、精密仪表等领域还存在着广泛的应用。
如孙道兴、刘香兰[2]等人研究的有机硅改性聚氨酯摩托车涂料,其耐盐水、耐酸碱、柔韧性都有很大提高。
田军、薛群基[3]等研究了端羟基的聚二甲基硅氧烷与醇解蓖麻油改性聚氨酯预聚体在甲苯溶剂中的共混改性。
共聚物成膜后,分子结构中的有机硅链段更倾向于在表面聚集取向,而聚氨酯链段朝向内层,这样使得共聚物膜的附着力、硬度、固化速度等力学性能得到改善;同时,其表面呈现低的表面能,其耐热性也得到了提高。
由聚氨酯预聚体、氨基硅烷或硅氧烷、聚有机硅氧烷增粘剂、含氢硅氧烷、有机溶剂等组成的涂料在氯铂酸催化下,(150~200)℃固化成膜,固化后的涂膜光滑、耐热、耐磨,对未经任何表面处理的硅橡胶有良好的粘接性[4]。
采用侧链含有多氨基官能团的硅油在溶剂中改性聚氨酯,这种硅氧烷在聚氨酯的合成过程中,侧链参加反应,硅氧烷链悬挂在聚氨酯的主链上,有利于硅原子向表面迁移,只需加入少量的氨基硅油就能改善聚氨酯的表面性质[5,6]。
有机硅的应用与研究进展享有“工业味精”、“科技发展催化剂”等美誉的有机硅是一种人工合成、结构上以硅原子和氧原子为主链的高聚物。
由于构成主链的硅氧键具有较高的键能,因此有机硅高聚物对热、氧的稳定性比一般的有机高聚物高得多。
尽管有机硅在室温下的力学性能与其它材料差异不大,但其在高低温下表现出卓越的物理、力学性能,在-60~250℃之间多次交变,其性能不受影响,有的甚至能在-100℃下正常使用;具有耐高低温、电气绝缘、耐臭氧、耐辐射、难燃、憎水、耐腐蚀、无毒无味以及生理惰性等。
如今,有机硅已广泛用于电子电气、建筑、纺织、轻工、医疗等各行业,并在汽车行业有着广泛的应用[1]。
有机硅产业链的上游是有机硅单体,具有生产流程长、技术难度大的特点,属技术密集型、资本密集型产业,其生产水平和装置规模是衡量一个国家有机硅产业技术水平的重要依据;有机硅产业链的下游是以有机硅单体为原料生产的硅油、硅橡胶、硅树脂、硅烷偶联剂等产品[2]。
有机硅不仅可以作为母体材料运用到生产生活中,还更常用作改性剂添加到主体材料中,从而改善主体材料的性能,如耐高温性,防水防污性,抑菌性,阻燃性,柔性等方面。
同时,在添加有机硅的同时,还要改进生产工艺方法及注意添加用量,以确保其发挥出最大作用。
在耐高温的研究应用方面,有机硅耐高温涂料一般由纯有机硅树脂或经过改性后的有机硅树脂为基料配以无机耐高温的填料、溶剂和助剂组成。
国外已有大量的研究成果,尤以美国、日本的发展为佳[3]。
某些设备如汽车的排气管、石化工厂中的高温反应釜、火电厂锅炉等经常处于高温和腐蚀介质中,两者协同作用加速了设备的腐蚀穿孔,增加了设备维修费用,并给安全生产带来很大隐患[4]。
刘宏宇等人以硅树脂为耐高温涂料的成膜物,研制了一种可常温固化的耐高温防腐蚀涂料。
该涂料具有良好的耐高温性,防腐蚀性及机械性能,可在500℃高温下长期使用。
同时发现漆膜厚度对涂料的耐热性能影响较小,但对加热后涂层的机械性能及防腐性能影响很大。

有机硅是分子主链中含硅元素的有机高分子合成材料,主要分为硅橡胶、硅油、硅树脂及硅烷偶联剂4大类产品。
目前,有机硅应用于涂料等工业的产品多为硅树脂,它以Si O Si 为主链,与硅原子相连的是各种有机基团。
这一类化合物是属于半无机、半有机结构的高分子化合物,兼具无机材料与有机材料的性能,其介电性能在较大的温度、湿度、频率范围内保持稳定,还具有优良的耐氧化、耐化学品、电绝缘、耐辐射、耐候、憎水、阻燃、耐盐雾、防霉菌等特性[1];广泛用于电子电气、轻工纺织、建筑、医疗等行业。
但硅树脂固化温度较高(250~300 )、固化时间较长,漆膜的机械性能、附着力和耐有机溶剂性能较差。
在现代工业中,聚酯树脂是制造聚酯纤维、涂料、薄膜以及工程塑料的原料,通常由二元酸和二元醇经酯化和缩聚反应制得。
这类聚合物的一个共同特点是其大分子的各个链节间都是以酯基相连,通称为聚酯[2]。
聚酯具有光亮、丰满、硬度高、物理机械性能良好以及耐化学腐蚀性能较好等优点;但存在耐水性差、施工性能不好等缺陷。
用有机硅对聚酯树脂进行改性,使两种聚合物材料的优势得到互补,可以大大提高树脂的性能,扩展其使用范围[3]。
近几年来,有机硅改性聚酯树脂在国外的研究较多,但在国内的研究却较少,发展十分缓慢。
有机硅改性丙烯酸建筑涂料的制备及性能研究摘要:有机硅改性丙烯酸(又称硅丙树脂)是丙烯酸酯的一种大型分子,其主要反应和侧链为硅烷或聚硅氧烷。
介绍了制备有机硅丙烯酸外墙涂料的制备方法,并测试了耐久性、环境适应性、耐洗刷,其是高档建筑外墙涂料。
关键词:有机聚硅氧烷;丙烯酸涂料;建筑涂料目前,住宅建筑的外涂料比丙烯酸树脂使用效果好,保色鲜艳,经久耐用,附着牢固,常温自干。
但是,由于丙烯酸树脂涂层是作为膜材料制造的,丙烯酸树脂本身的热塑性有限,没有线性分子的交联点,因此很难产生三交联膜和相对较低的耐热性。
达到室外温度时,返粘会在高温下出现。
低温下,膜由于缺乏弹性而易开裂。
一、试验部分硅丙涂料,比普通苯丙、纯丙以及醋丙涂料耐候性,温度低,耐沾污。
一般来说,普通丙烯酸树脂使用寿命约为5-8年。
建筑物外墙的颜色寿命要求约为10年,高和超高层的涂料寿命超过15年。
其后果是丙烯酸涂料在使用寿命期间不符合建筑外墙的要求,而硅丙则为15-20年,这是这个最明显的优点之一。
同时,硅丙与氟碳涂料差不多,但硅丙涂料在附着、污染和方面具有更明显的优势。
这是因为硅丙涂料有很多优点,近年来的快速发展逐渐成为建筑外墙的首选涂料之一。
1.合成丙烯酸的有机硅改性机理。
其包括碳、氢和其他有机物质以及硅、氧和有机物质。
它的分子结构几乎是硅酸盐,是典型的半无机聚合物,对于具有(见表1)Si—O、Si—C、Si—O键的有机硅分子443.5kJ/mol表1键能(KJ/mol)数据表1.试验配方原料及涂料。
