课时安排1课时教学过程Warming up兴趣导入：课件出示钟南山的相关信息，让学生猜一猜这是谁？Step 1 lead in课件展示Get ready主题情景图，教师手指这个情景图：“Look! There are some famous people. Who are they? Do you know them? Who can answer my question? OK, in this unit ,we’ll learn about famous people.本单元的主题是famous people名人。

教师把词语写在黑板上，领读几遍。

Step 2 Presentation1．多媒体展示第一张图片，师：Look, who is he?生：This is Thomas Edison. He was an inventor. He was American. （关注时间，动词应用过去式）inventor [ɪnˈventə(r)]发明家，冠词用an. American美国人，美国的，前面如果用冠词，也是an. 教师书写并领读单词。
