My bad luck had unexpectedly turned into a good thing.。
What are the shirts made of ?
Beauty in Common ThingsEach different part of China has its own special forms of traditional art. These usually try to show the things that are important in life, such as love, beauty and family. The most common things, from paper to clay to bamboo, are turned into objects of beauty.According to Chinese history, sky lanterns were first used by Zhuge Kongming. He sent them out to ask for help when in trouble.Today, sky lanterns are used at festivals and other celebrations. They are made of bamboo and covered with paper. When the lanterns are lit, they slowly rise into the air like small hot-air balloons for all to see. They are seen as bright symbols of happiness and good wishes.Paper cutting has been around for over 1,500 years.Paper cutting sounds very easy but it can be difficult to do.The paper, usually red, is folded before it is cut with scissors. The most common pictures are flowers, animals, and things about Chinese history.During the Spring Festival, they are put on windows, doors and walls as symbols of wishes for good luck and a happy new year.Chinese clay art is famous because the clay pieces are so small but they look very real. The pieces are usually cute children or lively characters from a Chinese fairy tale or historical story. The pieces are carefully shaped by hand from a very special kind of clay and then allowed to air-dry.After drying, they are fired at a very high heat. They are then polished and painted. It takes several weeks to complete everything. These small pieces of clay art show the love that all Chinese people have for life and beauty.。

配套K12学习(小初高)Life is full of the unexpected.你为什么今天上课迟到了?我的闹钟没有响!我一直还在睡觉,当我醒来时已经是早上8点了!不!所以我急急忙忙穿上衣服冲出家门。
你没吃早餐吗?没有,我甚至没有涮牙也没有洗脸!但在我到达车站前公交车已经开走了。
那你是怎么来这儿的?幸运的是卡尔爸爸看见我在路上,让我搭了他的车。
嗯,至少到你抵达学校时,你上课只迟到了五分钟。
Why were you late for class today?M y alarm clock didn’t go off!I kept sleeping, and when I woke up it was already 8:00a.m.!Oh, no!So I just quickly put on some clothes and rushed out the door. You didn’t eat breakfast? No, I didn’t even brush my teeth or wash my face! But before I got to the bus stop, the bus had already left. Then how did you get here?Luckily, Carl’s dad saw me on the street and gave me a lift in his car.Well, at least by the time you got to school, you were only five minutes late for class.配套K12学习(小初高)。
How can we become good learners?

配套K12学习(小初高)How can we become good learners?我有点紧张。
我必须读完一本书,下周一做报告。
那听起来太棒了。
可是我读书很慢。
起先请快读阅读来理解大意。
不要逐词读要读词组。
可是其中有许多单词我不理解。
我不得不使用词典。
尽量通过阅读前后句来猜测单词的意思。
很可能你理解得比你想得多。
那听起来很难!哦,耐心点儿。
这需要时间。
你可以通过每天阅读你喜欢的东西而变得更好。
你读得越来越多,你就会越快。
I’m a little nervous. I have to finish reading a book and give a report next Monday. That doesn’t sound too bad. But I’m a very slow reader.Just read quickly to get the main ideas at first.Don’t read word by word. Read word groups. But I don’t understand many of the words.I have to use a dictionary.Try to guess a word’s meaning by reading the sentences before and after it.You probably understand more than you think. That sounds difficult!Well, be patient. It takes time. You can become better by reading something you enjoy every day.The more you read, the faster you’ll be.配套K12学习(小初高)。
