Step 4:Homework跟读“Let’s talk”这部分的录音,能以正确的语音语调熟练地读下来.本课时以Mike和Sarah去农田里的故事为主要情景,要求学生能够在语境中运用句型:“What are these... ? Are they/these ... ?”来询问农作物的名称。
在教学过程中,要注意三点:第一,可进行巩固复习曾经学过的水果;第二,要正确指导“these”的发音;第三,可简单地讲解一下these是this的复数,并说明本单元主要学习复数形式的名词。

如:A :They are tender and green. What are they?B :They are brown. French fries are made of them. What are they?引出“green beans ”“potatoes ”,板书四个单词,并写出对应的复数形式,教师提醒“tomato ”和“po¬tato”的复数加“es”。
③教师手举几个西红柿,说:Do you like toma- toes?引导学生回答:I like…或I don’t like...④教师拿起一些青豆,并说:Oh,they are long and green. They are green beans. Do you like green beans?让学生在回答中学习单词。
⑤拿起土豆,说:“Oh,the potatoes are big. Do you like potatoes? ”⑥教师将四种蔬菜分别放在教室不同的位置,然后说单词,请学生指出相应的实物。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension①播放“Let’s chant ”,在“chant ”的时候,学生举出相应的图片,并跟读单词;在播放第二遍时,学生跟着一起“chant”。
②教师板书四个单词相应的原形,并比较有什么不同,启发学生明白英语中一样东西和多样东西形式不一样,有复数变化。
尤其特例:potato,toma¬to ;carrot的复数和读音变化。
③听“Let’s learn”这部分内容,并跟读。
④教师拿出蔬菜图片,学生用“They are…”来写句子。
