Step 3:Consolidation and extension①完成“Let’s play”这部分内容，两人一组，一人准备一些图片，图片里有各种各样的蔬菜或水果，一人猜，一人回答，运用下列句型：—What are these? —They’ re...Are they...? —Yes，they are. .No，they aren’t.What are they? —They are...②替换“Let’s talk”中的关键词，重新编写对话，同桌二人将对话表演出来。
③课堂小练习，判断交际能力，正确的画“√”，错误的画“X”。
Step 4:Homework跟读“Let’s talk”这部分的录音，能以正确的语音语调熟练地读下来.本课时以Mike和Sarah去农田里的故事为主要情景，要求学生能够在语境中运用句型：“What are these... ? Are they/these ... ?”来询问农作物的名称。
在教学过程中，要注意三点：第一，可进行巩固复习曾经学过的水果;第二，要正确指导“these”的发音;第三，可简单地讲解一下these是this的复数，并说明本单元主要学习复数形式的名词。

Step 2:Presentation①播放“Let’s chant”这部分的歌谣，要求学生根据歌词适时举起相应的图片。
②在播放之前，师生对话，引出新单词，并板书复数复数形式。
展示西红柿，T:What are these?Ss ：They are tomatoes展示胡萝卜，T:What are these?Ss ：They are carrots.今天，我们要认识两种新蔬菜，可接着用猜谜语的方式。
如：A ：They are tender and green. What are they?B ：They are brown. French fries are made of them. What are they?引出“green beans ”“potatoes ”，板书四个单词，并写出对应的复数形式，教师提醒“tomato ”和“po¬tato”的复数加“es”。
③教师手举几个西红柿，说：Do you like toma- toes?引导学生回答：I like…或I don’t like...④教师拿起一些青豆，并说:Oh，they are long and green. They are green beans. Do you like green beans?让学生在回答中学习单词。
⑤拿起土豆，说：“Oh，the potatoes are big. Do you like potatoes? ”⑥教师将四种蔬菜分别放在教室不同的位置，然后说单词，请学生指出相应的实物。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension①播放“Let’s chant ”，在“chant ”的时候，学生举出相应的图片，并跟读单词;在播放第二遍时，学生跟着一起“chant”。
②教师板书四个单词相应的原形，并比较有什么不同，启发学生明白英语中一样东西和多样东西形式不一样，有复数变化。
尤其特例：potato，toma¬to ;carrot的复数和读音变化。
③听“Let’s learn”这部分内容，并跟读。
④教师拿出蔬菜图片，学生用“They are…”来写句子。
⑤课堂小练习，我来做裁判，对的打“√”，错的打“X”。
Step 4:Homework将“chant”部分说唱给父母听。
本课时主要学习四种蔬菜：tomato，green beans，carrot，potato。
并会用“They are..”来形容这四种蔬菜的特点。
了解其对应的复数形式，并注意例词tomato和potato的复数形式。
教师可做简单的单数变复数一般规律的总结，为更易于学生理解，可结合图片讲的例词。
