It is not easy to decide whether to stay alive together sharing what you have, or whether you should keep all the resources for yourself. Is Eddie generous enough to share his food with Hobo? Let’s hav e a look.2、教师呈现课本第58页第一、第二幅图,遮住对话,让学生根据Eddie 和Hobo的表情猜测他们分别说了什么,然后在四人小组中交流讨论。

3、呈现第三幅图,遮住Eddie的回答,让学生猜测Eddie说了什么。

再呈现第四幅图画,遮住Eddie和Hobo的对话,根据双方的表情与动作,猜测对话内容。

4、教师询问:If Hobo doesn’t have food, what will happen? If Eddie dies, what will happen? 学生听录音,然后回答:If Hobo doesn’t have food, he will die. If Eddie dies, no one will look after Hobo.5、学生跟着录音朗读漫画内容,练习表演对话。

6、教师呈现一幅野生动物的图片。

问学生:What is this animal? What does it often eat? Where does it live?7、告诉学生:There are many wild animals in the world. 板书并教生词:wild。

8、教师通过询问学生引入话题:Where do people usually see wild animals? What wild animals can we see there? 启发学生开动脑筋,回答问题。

9、教师出示课本第59页A部分的第一幅图片,利用图片学习生词:What can you see in the picture?和学生一起回答,即时呈现生词kangaroo。

10、教师一一呈现其他五幅图片,学生两人一组做问答练习:What can you see in the picture? I can see…教师巡视,对学生开展问答时出现的生词给予正确指导,并一一板书,活动结束时全班学习单词:kangaroo, bear, giant panda, squirrel, dolphin和tiger。

11、教师检查词汇学习情况,出示课本第59页的六幅图片,让学生根据图片填写正确的名称。

12、教师逐一呈现第59页的图片,要求学生就每种动物的外形、食物、性格特点作一简单描述。

例如:Kangaroos are strong. They eat leaves. Each of them has a pocket on its s tomach. Baby Kangaroos stay in their mother’s pockets. They can jump very far. They live in Australia.13、浏览课本第59页B部分的表格,要求学生先将自己的部分填写完整。

14、学生两人一组练习对话,询问对方喜欢的野生动物,说明理由,并在全班选出最受欢迎的野生动物。

如:Which wild animal do you like?15、让学生就自己同伴的喜好作一简单的汇报,并说明理由。

3、在学生猜测教师所喜爱的野生动物的过程中,若有人提到大熊猫,就将大熊猫的图片或投影展示出来。

4、使用课前准备好的四幅图片呈现大熊猫的相关动物和信息。

图片的内容为刚出生的大熊猫图片,长大后的大熊猫图片,吃竹笋的大熊猫图片以及人们捕猎大熊猫的图片。

5、教师说:Do you know why I like giant pandas best? Because giant pandas are very lovely. They look like white mice when they are born. They look like bears when they grow up. Also, they are friendly. They like eating bamboo leaves and shoots. They seldom eat meat or hurt other animals. There are not many giant pandas in the world. They’re in danger. We should take action to protect them.教师在呈现、讲解图片的过程中,还要将画线部分板书出来,并带领学生朗读。
