考 通过guessing game 形式复习上节课学过的有关身体不同

部分病症的单词。以调查制表形式巩固提建议的不同表达法然后展示图片, 介绍自己一位朋友的情况, 操练句型 “when did

it start? I hope you feel better soon.” 等。然后通过小组活动的形式,让学生扮演不同的角色, 巩固所学知识,并向全班汇报。

教 学 过 程

Step1: Warming up

Play a guessing game.

T: In last class, we learned some words about health. Now let’s play a game.

One student mimes the word, the others try to guess the meaning. Who’s the best

actor?

S1: (Mimes an illness) S2: I think he has a sore throat.

Step2: Revision and practice.

T: Wonderful. You did a great job. There are many kinds of illness. For

example, if you have a cold, what can you do?

S1: I should go to see a doctor.

S2: I should…

Get Ss to practice in pairs. One mentions a problem, the other gives some

advice.

T: Your advice is very practical. Can you make a conversation with your

partner? One is the doctor, the other asks for the help. Help Ss to practice in

pairs.

Step3: Discussion and practice

Divide Ss into groups of 4-6. Discuss and design a form. The group who can

write the most problems and advice will the best. Put Ss’ works on the wall

Show a slide and give Ss a model as follows:

Step4: Presentation and conversation

Show Ss a picture. They can see a woman lying in bed in hospital. Then the

teacher tells Ss something about the woman.

T: Yesterday I went to the hospital.

S1: Were you ill?

T: No. I went to see a friend. Look at the picture. You see, she is lying in bed.

S1: What’s the matter?

T: Oh, she’s not feeling well. She has a stomachache. It started two days ago.

That’s too bad. Do you know what the doctor told her to do?

S1: …

T: I hope she feels better soon.

Write the sentences on the Bb. Present more drills: I feel terrible. I hope you

will be all right. Get Ss to talk about the picture. Ask and answer. Let Ss finish

3a. Ask some of them to act it out. Then try to make up new dialogues.

Step5: Acting and writing

T: Boys and girls, this weekend we’ll go to visit a doctor, Mr white. First we

should know how to help doctors. Let’s do groupwork. One is the doctor, one is

the volunteer, others are the patients. Both the doctor and the volunteer should

give advice.

Help Ss to make conversations and act them out.

S1: What’s the matter?

S2: I have a headache.

S1: When did it start?

S2: About two days ago.

S1: That’s too bad. You should go to bed.

S2: Yes, I think so.

S1: I hope you feel better soon.

S2: Thank you , Doctor.

Each group works together. Write down the messages while talking. Give a

report to the class.

Step6. Homework

1. Revise the words and phrases.

2. Make a new conversation like the model in Section A 3a. Write it down.
