建筑工程技术系Construction Engineering Technology Department In 1997, Vocational and Technical College of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University opened Construction Engineering Technology Major, and created Construction Engineering Technology Department in 1998, including majors in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Management, Water Supply and Drainage Engineering Technology, Building Electrical Engineering Technology and Engineering Cost. Among them, Construction Engineering Technology is a major brand of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, and Engineering Cost is considered to be college -level major.There are three respective Teaching and Research Rooms, which are Civil Engineering, Engineering Management and Cost, Water Supply& Drainage and Electrical Engineering.In this department there are 584 full-time students, and 33 teachers including 1 professor,7 associate professors , 1 senior engineer, 14 lecturers, 8 teaching assistants, 1experimentalist, 1assistant experimentalist.Among them, 27 teachers obtain master's and above master’s degree, which accounts for 82% of all the teachers in the department. And there is 1postgraduate tutor, 1 new teaching star ,1 university-level teaching team, 1 college-level scientific innovation team on developing and building new countries, and 3 reform and innovation team teams on college-level educational teaching.There are 12 experiment training workshops as follows, Electrical and Electronic Laboratory, AUTOCAD Training Workshop,Engineering Cost Workshop, Electronic Control Workshop, Integrated Design Workshop, Workshop of Construction Equipment and Simulation Model, and Mechanics Laboratory, Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Building Materials Workshop, Measuring Device Rooms,BIM Laboratory, plus extra six off-campus practice workshops easily accessible. In recent 3 years, the employment rate has reached 95.2% because of the students’ excellent operational skills.Meanwhile, teachers in the department have been in charge of two National Science Foundation of China projects (budget about 1,000,000) , 3 Science and Research programs in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 4 college-level scientific research projects, 1 regional level elaborate course, 1 university-level brand professional, 5 university-level elaborate courses , 5 college-level elaborate courses, 5 university-level educational reform project,1 higher educational scientific research project and 10 college-level educational reforms. Papers on academic education and educational reforms have been published nearly more than fifty, teaching materials more than 20 involved editing and coediting .Civil Engineering major is focused on mastering the skills of civil engineering structure design,construction, organization and management, and project cost and so on, facing the enterprises like construction and design.Students with skills and qualification certificates, can work in the fields in civil engineering design, construction and management.Construction Engineering Technology major is to cultivate the students' practical ability and creative consciousness, to make them knowledgeable about engineering mechanics, structural design, identifying the engineering drawings, better at professional skills in the construction technology, construction organization and management, engineering measurement and valuation, and able to work in the front- line construction technology and management after getting the professional qualification certificates.Construction Engineering Management major is open for construction - related enterprises, focusing on the skills in management, economics and engineering technology. After getting the professional qualification certificates, the students with practical skills and a sense of innovation can work in the field in construction engineering operation and management.Water Supply and Drainage Engineering Technology major is open for relevant enterprises like construction engineering, and municipal water supply and drainage, focusing on the necessary skills in water supply and drainage engineering. After getting theprofessional qualification certificates, the students with practical skills and a sense of innovation can work in the field in water supply and drainage engineering front line management.Construction Electrical Engineering Technology major is for related enterprises like building and construction, focusing on the necessary skills in building lighting and construction technology of power supply and distribution system, debugging and designing of electrical control system,installation ,debugging and maintenance of electrical equipment, smart systematical installation, debugging and maintenance of buildings etc. After getting the professional qualification certificates, the students can work in the field in front-line construction and electrical technology and the electrical design work.Engineering Cost major is for related enterprises like building, construction and construction supervision, focusing on the necessary skills in the bidding and tendering for the project, construction budget and construction bill’s editing, making and quotation. After getting the professional qualification certificates, thestudents can work in the field in the construction engineering measurement and valuation.畜牧兽医技术系Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Technology DepartmentAnimal Husbandry and Veterinary Technology has been established for 32 years since college was set up in 1985, then officially named after Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Technology Department in 2004. After continuous development, there are now two four-year majors in Animal Science (with minorities students from Mongolian and Han respective) and Animal Medicine, and three-year majors in Animal husbandry and Veterinary (two languages, Mongolian and Han, spoken respectively in class ), Animal Husbandry and Veterinary (focusing on sport horses’ domestication and management ), Feeding Materials and Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Pharmaceutical Technology, among which Animal Science (Previous Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Education) was the earliest major in thiscollege, and now is the trial major about national teaching reform, and the brand major in Inner Mongolia.There are 37 full-time teachers, among which there are 2 professors, 3 master-degree tutors, 4 teachers with deputy -high titles , 6 teachers with doctors’ degree, 32 teachers with double-qualities titles, and part-time teachers hired from the enterprise. With much attention to the cultivation of the students' practical skills in teaching,our department has set up 6 laboratories, 4in-campus training bases and 4 more stable off-campus training bases, among which the labs are as follows Fundamental Veterinary, Comprehensive Analysis, Livestock’s Anatomy, Artificial Fertilization and Embryo Transfer, Livestock Veterinary Microorganism, and Veterinary Drug Analysis and Testing and the 4in-campus training bases are as follows, Comprehensive Cultivation Teaching Ranch, Animal Hospital, Feed Mills, Sports horse training base. Therefore, practice teaching accounts for 43.8-62.7% of total teaching hours.The department is highly productive in scientific research projects with a total of 29, in which includes 10national projects , 11 in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with 1 prize from National Teaching Achievement and 1 from Autonomous Region Teaching Achievement. In addition, the students in our department won many first prizes in the Autonomous Region Agricultural Skills Contest, and then won the third prize and the first prize on behalf of the Autonomous Region to participate in the national contest.Due to the higher practical ability , graduates are welcomed by the employers. We send a large number of outstanding undergraduates to the society everyyear.The employment rate has been over 95%for three consecutive years.With the greens around the campus, let's go to the horse farm!The first sight that came into our mind is the eye-catching horse! It seems like galloping elegantly down from the picture drawn by the Master Xu Beihong, a famous animal painter. Looking around, you can find atidy horse house , a big playground, a sport horse domestication base with 45 teaching horses, which is equipped with standard stables, indoor training areas, the track, with rooms and mills available for feed processing, shoes wearing, saddlery, and washing providing powerful guarantee for the horses’ health. In recent years, our department has been famous both in the Inner Mongolia and in China and the world after the excellent students showed up in various competitions and got several prizes.After enjoying the beauty of horses, let us see the scenery elsewhere!Now I see the breeding and teaching ranch of the Animal Husbandry Department! At present, the farm construction has taken shape already, with various breeds of animals, providing sufficient conditions for the trainees.In-campus Na Damu( a festival for Mongolians to have a fun after a harvest) will be held every year, in which not only the three arts, horse racing, archery, and wrestling but also some performances like Mongolianchess, ShaGa, equestrian and other activities will be displayed by traditional Mongolian men. Equestrian is a kind of sports, including jumping, riding and comprehensive all-round competitions and dressage competitions, showing a perfect cooperation of the riders and horses. These are the following pictures for a closer look at them.Next we'll visit the vet, where at the beginning it has been playing an important role of training excellent students of veterinary, and making them familiar with and practice to use various types of veterinary equipment! What a great vet!Many students have been cultivated under the benefits of these perfect facilities and training bases. And we are not satisfied with what we have achieved till now, still making efforts to catch up with the first class target with our entire strength.
