一、考试大纲说明
(一)课程性质、目的与任务
大学英语是一门为非英语专业学生开设的公共必修课程，本课程以全面培养听、说、读、写、译的英语基本语言技能为目的。学生通过本课程的学习，掌握必需的实用的英语语言知识和写作技能，具有初步阅读和翻译英文资料的能力，为进一步提高英语的理解能力和应用能力打下基础。
(二)考试目标和要求
1.了解与教材相关的文化背景知识；
2.理解教材中的各个语言知识点；
3.掌握英语的基本语言技能；
4.运用本课程的基本知识分析和解决英语学习中所遇到的具体问题。
(三)命题依据及命题原则
1． 命题依据：
本课程的考试依据《大学英语教学要求》（教育部），《大学英语教学大纲A(一)》（湖南人文科技学院外语系制订），以及以下教材及教学参考书目而制定。
教材：
郑树棠主编,新视野大学英语读写教程（第二版）·学生用书1，北京:外语教学与研究出版社，2008年3月。
教学参考书目：
(1)郑树棠主编，新视野大学英语读写教程（第二版）·教师用书1，北京：外语教学

2． 命题原则：
（1）本课程的考试命题在教学大纲规定的教学目的、教学要求和教学内容的范围之内；
2 考学过的以及课外要求的内容。
（2）考试命题突出课程的重要内容和基本知识。
(四)考试形式及试卷结构：
1.试卷总分：100分。
2.考试时限：120分钟。
3.试题类型：主观题和客观题兼有。
4.考试方法：笔试。
5.考试方式：闭卷。
6.试卷题型比例：本课程考试的试题类型有：写作、词汇与语法结构、阅读理解、完型填空和翻译。各类题型的分数比例为：写作20%、词汇与语法结构20%、阅读30%、完型填空10%、翻译20%。
7.规模：期末考试为全院性考试。
二、考试内容和具体要求
(一)写作
1.考核要求
测试考生用书面英语表达思想的能力。
2.考核知识点
(1)思想表达；
(2)语言表达；
(3)写作规范。
(二) 词汇与语法结构
1．考核要求
测试考生运用词汇与语法知识的能力。
2.考核知识点
(1)动词的时态；
(2)被动语态；
(3)虚拟语气；
(4)动词不定式；
(5)动名词；
(6)现在分词和过去分词；
(7)基本句型和句子成分；

1.考核要求
测试考生从书面文字材料获取信息的能力。总阅读量约1900词。
2.考核知识点
(1)理解语篇和段落的主旨大意；
(2)掌握语篇中的事实和主要情节；
（3）理解语篇上下文的逻辑关系；
（4）对段落和句子进行推理；
（5）了解作者的目的、态度和观点；
（6）根据上下文正确理解生词的意思；
（7）了解语篇的结论；
（8）进行信息转换。
(四) 完型填空
1.考核要求
测试考生的词汇、语法基础知识和语篇分析能力。
2.考核知识点

(3)语篇分析能力
(五) 英译汉或汉译英
1.考核要求
4 测试考生将英语译成汉语或将汉语译成英语的能力。

(1)词义的选择与引申；

(6)词序转换法；
(7)视点转换法；
(8)分译法和合译法；

Part I Writing (本大题共20分)
Directions: Write a composition of no less than 80 words about the title of On
Reference Book. You should write down your composition on the Answer Sheet
according to the outline given below.
