My Amazing School Trip

Hi friends! I'm so excited to tell you all about the awesome

school trip I went on last week. We went to this totally cool

science museum and I learned a bunch of fun stuff. I can't wait to

share all the details with you!

First off, we had to wake up super early to get to school by

7am. I was pretty tired but my mom packed me a big breakfast

with scrambled eggs, toast, and apple juice to wake me up. Once

we got to school, we all piled onto the big yellow bus. There were

kids from 3 different 8th grade classes going on the trip, so the

bus was pretty crowded. My best friend Sam managed to save

me a seat though, so we got to sit together for the ride.

It took us almost an hour to get to the museum. I could

hardly contain my excitement when I saw the giant science

So, let's talk about our dreams, our passions, our volunteer

work! In English class, we learned all about volunteering and how

important it is to help others. I really want to share with you all

about my volunteer experience and how I want to make a

difference in the world.

First of all, I think it's super cool to volunteer. You get to

meet new people, make new friends, and help those in need. Last

month, I volunteered at a local animal shelter. It was so much fun!

I got to play with all the cute puppies and kitties, and I helped

clean their cages too. It was hard work, but it felt really good to

I also want to volunteer at a nursing home. I think it's

important to spend time with the elderly and show them that we
