Change File Attributes
Changee Attributes function assigns group ownership and permissions on the files in the selected board directory and its sub-directories. When you copy board directories to a new system, it is recommended that you run this utility on the directories. This is particularly important for the Operator Interface, where testplan execution is dependent on these file permissions. NOTE You have must have write permissions on the directory and files in order to change the file attributes. In File Explorer, right-click the files and select Properties. Make sure the Read-only attribute is not selected. 1 From the Administrator Interface, select Change File Attributes. 2 Click the browse button ( the directory. ) to locate and select

Copy Board Directory
Copy Board Directory
Use the Copy Board Directory function whenever you need to move a board directory, for example, from a developer’s workstation to the test station or network server. NOTE When copying files to a networked system or drive, the network share must be mapped as a drive letter on the originating system. You must also have read/write access to any directories on the remote system that you wish to copy to. This copy utility must also be used if copying a board directory from a remote system to a local system. The same rules concerning mapped remote drives and read/write access apply. This copy utility preserves links between files used in Panelized Test board directories. Follow these steps to copy the board directory: 1 From the administrator interface, select Copy Board Directory. 2 Select the source and destination directories. You can use the browse button ( ) to locate and select the directory. The source and destination directories can be on the local system or a remote system. Remote systems must be mapped using a drive letter.
