Comments on 3 Idiots
Iprefer to watch a long film rather than watch TV series for the sake of saving time. The longest movie I have seen is 3 Idiots, which is an Indian comedy and takes me 2 hours and 20 minutes thereabouts. It seems to me that this movie is a perfect combination of tearjerker, comedy and education film. There are many touching plots, farcical scenes as well as philosophy in it.
Friendship is one of the topics in this movie. At the very beginning we can see that a photographer（Farlan）of some note racks his brain to deplane and another man (Raju) is so hurry to go out that he forgets to put his pants on just because they are both informed the coming of a mysterious person. Until that time, I have to admit that the director is successful enough to attract audience’s attention. Almost everyone is curious about the unknown person——Rancho. The story is still going on and Farlan and Raju take a taxi to the promissory place to meet their best friend.To their disappointment, they see anotherclassmate(Chatur) instead of Rancho. They ask Chatur what happens angrily and the movie begins with memory of Chatur.We come to know that Rancho tries his best to help Farlan and Raju when they are in trouble and I am moved by the great friendship among them. In modern world, pure friendship is rare and lasting treasure.
As the film goes on, I have deeper and deeper understanding of the whole story gradually. When it comes to the undergraduate I feel very sorry and I can’t forgive the president because I have a fixed idea that if that student is given another chance the result would be different and he would not suicide. Just as the song has sung” Give me some sunshine, Give me some rain, Give me another chance Iwanna grow up once again! ”Ibelieve this movie not only criticizes the rigid educational system but also encourages us students to innovate and create rather than obey rules all the time. Another topic I want to discuss here is natural affection.In this movie, both Farlan and Raju have family problems and Raju even jumps from the building because of too much pressure from his parents and school. He loves his family deeply but he does not betray friends at the same time. Fortunately, he fails to die and after a long time treatment and good care he recovers. He bursts out crying when he sees his mother’s haggard face. I believe he really regrets at that moment. So when Farlan knees down and tells his father he would never suicide because he can imagine what his parents’ happy face in the family picture will be my face is covered with tears unconsciously. Suddenly it occurs to me that everyone is not a simple individual for we have family and friends, we should be responsible to them.That is also what we are supposed to learn
