“How much negative you want, it means how much positive you want .”
-Arthur Schopenhauer(亚瑟·叔本华)
Most of my works inspire from my individual lives. Via focusing on usual world, my works reflect people’s spiritual situation and minds. I confront with life’s uneasiness and complicated emotions and they integrate with music rhythm, sometimes slow, sometimes hysterical. Using combined traditional media-drawing and woodcut, the emotional and violent color can be completely paraphrased and directly transformed. I don’t expect viewers’ complete understanding of pictures because my pieces of drawing and cutting are not directly for paraphrasing and transformation. I love to react with such chemistry between wall and combination of wood and water to create a certain environment and stage space.
We still need to restrain the emotion and action to a certain context, after the impromptu st art, rational thought and layout disappearing in the uncontrolled environment. I do hope t he audience can walk on the stage, be a part of the work, and also observe and feel its po wer and infection through my device work.。
