TheLM4980isastereoheadphoneaudioamplifier,which
whenconnectedtoa3.0Vsupply,delivers42mWtoa16Ω
loadwithlessthan1%THD+N.WiththeLM4980packaged
intheSDpackage,thecustomerbenefitsincludelowprofile
andsmallsize.ThispackageminimizesPCBareaandmaxi-
mizesoutputpower.
TheLM4980featurescircuitrythatsignificantlyreducesout-
puttransients(“clicks”and“pops”)whiledrivingheadphones
duringdeviceturn-onandturn-offwithoutcostlyexternal
additionalcircuitry.TheLM4980alsoincludesanexternally
controlledlow-powerconsumptionactive-lowshutdown
mode,andthermalshutdown.Boomeraudiopoweramplifi-
ersaredesignedspecificallytousefewexternalcompo-
nentsandprovidehighqualityoutputpowerinasurface
