通过头脑风暴和限时抢答的方式进行热身,让学生在热烈的英语学习气氛中展开对新加坡这一花园式国家的探索。
老师以冬令营新加坡之行的旅行方式带领学生一站站领略新加坡美食,景点。
Step 2: Fast Reading 快速阅读设计目的:通过快速阅读提升学生查读抓住各段落主要信息的能力,让学生明确文章四段的主题,语言,美食,动物园,气候温度。

第一段,新加坡的位置,汉语英语两种语言无须担心语言障碍也是练习英语的好地方。
第二段,在新加坡领略世界各地的美食。
第三段,比较普通动物园与夜间动物园的区别,激起学生体验的兴趣,作为阅读重点处理。
第四段,气候全年是夏天,任何时间去旅行都可以。
旨在用不同的方式让学生在阅读中掌握相关信息,为后面语言的输出做好充分的语言输入。
Material analysis:This reading material is chosen from Unit 9, grade 8 “Go For It”. The title of the unit is “Have you ever been to a museum?”, and the title of the reading material is “Singapore---- A place you will never forget!”The article introduces a foreign country---- Singapore. It describes the reasons why Singapore is a place you will never forget from 4 different aspects (language, food, zoo and weather). The theme of the article is about opening oneself and being open to the world. It encourages students to open themselves to explore the world. More importantly, it helps the students cultivate the International Perspective. At the same time, the structure of the article is very clear, which is made up of 5 paragraphs. The layout of the text serves as a good example for the students to follow while they comprehend or learn to write a travel tips to introduce a place. 知识方面:对于八年级的学生来说,经过近两年的英语学习,部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础。
他们掌握了大量的语言技能,对英语文本的分析能力也有了一定的提高,但阅读技能的培养还待继续,所以在教学环节除了注重学生语言知识的学习外,还设置了不同的阅读微技能活动。
他们也掌握了一点国外日常生活中的不同传统特点,但总体上来说,还比较少。
心理方面:旅游这个话题与学生的生活紧密相连,也是他们很感兴趣的话题,如有机会,他们也很想出国亲身体验一些中国不同的旅游胜地,风土人情和传统生活。
但对于我们的学生来讲,出国的机会比较少。
比如新加坡,据了解没有同学去过。
基于现实生活,只能引导学生在课堂上发挥丰富的想象力,把课堂模拟成生活。
但大部分学生对于国外的旅游胜地,风土人情和传统生活所知甚少,因而词汇量和信息量可能会偏大,加之学生英语成绩的分化比较严重,所以要求学生能课前认真做好预习,借助网络和书籍,培养自学能力;在预设的任务中,也注意引导学生在交际中动态生成,学生有话可说,乐于合作分享.这样就有利于他们更好的运用课本知识,达到提高综合运用语言能力的目的。
