The story happened in Los Angeles -- the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural gathering of big city. The film begins with seemingly ordinary crash, and several related with this event. Then, the lens will bring us into the day before the crash, and shows us that several main characters in this dozens of hours.
This breathtaking film won the best achievement in film editing ,the best motion picture of the year, and the best writing ,original screenplay in 2006 for OSCAR. All of these awards have approved that this movie is worth watching. And I am inclined to agree because this film is thought-provoking. Moreover, I was shocked by its first lines: “it’s the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We’re always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something”.
The film a lot of text description of the ethnic and cultural conflict, white to make equal respect colored attitude, but in the heart of discrimination against blacks, blacks side against white discrimination, the other side discrimination with Asians, Asians and other people of color discrimination. Tail two crash quarrel very interesting, the first crash, is an Asian traffickers and Southern Belle wife detective, two people call each other ethnic, racial discrimination against each other. Trailer car, clinic receptionist with insurance company, one black and one Asian, two people like to use each other's race for attack. This phenomenon is very funny, but also very sad. Such insults showed their confidence, their efforts to make the mainstream society. Only white is superior to mainstream, can saying hypocritically, like a philanthropists to
give his equal, just meet interests, it immediately in chapter. Like the hypocrisy of the judges, under the banner of equal rights, actually doing the dirty work.
Crash focuses on a short time ----24 hour, telling us the whole progress of accident. However, this movie is more important, it reveals the discrimination of black people. The movie shows us how the black people were unfairly treated, which in my eyes are quite touching. Yeah, I feel sorry for the black people. They are looked down only because of their races! How ridiculous!
Discrimination is everywhere, especially reflected in the small and vulnerable groups on the body, but the key is whether you own some discrimination is discrimination, on the surface, such as the old police discrimination against blacks, blacks on Asians discrimination, but more important is the heart of unconscious discrimination, such as the last of the new the police, on the surface and the subjective against discrimination, but the heart has already accepted the discrimination against blacks.
I am happy to see that at last all the leading characters became friendly to each other, and what I learn most from the movie is the fact: love is all around. Never should we show an unfriendly attitude to others, let alone discriminate against other races. In our daily life, we should treat everybody equally, because we are all human beings, we are brothers and sisters. Just as Jane said in Jane Eyre: Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! I have as much soul as you, and full as much heart! And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me,
as it is now for me to leave you. I am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh; it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed through the grave, and we stood at God's feet, equal,-as we are! This is not only for love between couples but all of us.
A haunting masterpiece, the director on a deep understanding of social problems is amazing.。
