I walked into the exam room and felt a rush of

nervousness. The desks were neatly arranged in rows, and

the silence was almost suffocating. I took a deep breath

and found my seat, trying to ignore the feeling of dread

settling in the pit of my stomach.

The clock on the wall seemed to tick away the seconds

at an agonizingly slow pace. I fidgeted in my seat, trying

to shake off the anxiety that threatened to consume me. I

glanced around the room and saw my classmates with their

heads bent over their papers, deep in concentration. I

envied their composure and wished I could muster the same

level of calm.

As I flipped through the exam paper, my mind went blank.

The questions looked like a foreign language to me, and I

struggled to recall the hours of studying I had put in.

Panic started to set in, and I could feel the beads of

sweat forming on my forehead. I desperately tried to focus, but my thoughts were jumbled and chaotic.

Time seemed to slip through my fingers as I battled

with the questions. Each minute felt like an eternity, and

I cursed myself for not being better prepared. I scribbled

down whatever came to mind, hoping that something, anything,

would earn me a few extra points.

Finally, the invigilator called out that time was up. I

felt a mix of relief and disappointment wash over me. I

handed in my paper and walked out of the exam room, feeling

drained and defeated. I knew that I had given it my all,

but I couldn't shake off the feeling of inadequacy that

lingered in the back of my mind.
