它是一门新兴的学科,也对翻译研究提供新的方法和模式。
不同民族认识、感知世界所取的角度不同,思维方式也不相同。
表现在语言上,就是不同民族用不同的语言表达同一事物。
作为语言研究的一部分,对于翻译的研究,必须根植于人的思维以及文化。
而人的思维方式形成来源于人的体验与认知。
首先分析语言的认知视角,作为语言在文化活动中的一种表现形式,翻译的认知视角必然与语言的认知视角息息相关。
本文以语言的认知视角和翻译的认知视角作为理论支撑,分析英汉成语翻译、电影名称翻译以及英汉翻译中的隐喻来进一步探索英汉翻译中的认知视角转换。
关键词:认知翻译学体验与认知认知视角语言文化■一、语言的认知视角结构主义语言观分析文本时注重结构本身,认为语言结构是一种客观存在,具有意义。
但是结构主义语言观脱离现实世界与人的认知过程。
结构主义和体验认知对待语言的最大差异在于,前者只关注语言结构本身,把约定俗成的语言交际平台看成大脑固有的深层结构机制,不关注语言产生和使用的经验背景;而后者,则一切从经验背景出发,关注语符和其产生时间之间的关系(王斌,2015:27)。
地球上有些地带不可能下雪,人们从未见过雪,那么所处这些地带的人们的语言系统里就不会出现有关“雪”的词汇,所以语言是反应所处的环境和世界。
自然环境、人的生活方式、人的思维方式都会直接反映在语言中。
而生活方式、思维方式都来源于人对于生活的体验。
所以语言是人体验认知的产物。
体验认知并不是全面的,如果所处自然环境中的某些现象比较丰富,对这些现象的认知就比较充分,这个环境中所产生的语言词汇也就随之丰富;反之,如果这个环境中没有的现象,在语言中也会出现词汇空白(王斌,2015:27)。
人的生活环境有一定的局限性,所以人的体验也是有局限性的。
体现在语言上,就是人们认识的世界不同,看待问题的方式不同,说不同的语言表达自我。
