most popular traditional Chinese games that have been passed

1. Chinese Chess (Xiangqi)

Chinese chess, also known as Xiangqi, is a strategic board

game that dates back over a thousand years. The game is played

on a board with 10 horizontal lines and 9 vertical lines, with each

player controlling an army of soldiers, horses, chariots, cannons,

and generals. The objective of the game is to capture the

opponent's general while protecting your own.

China's cultural tapestry is rich with traditional games that not only

provide entertainment but also embody philosophical wisdom and moral teachings.

Among these, the ancient game of Tóu Hú (Chinese: 投壶), a form of

archery-based recreation, stands as an emblematic representation of China's

historical pastime activities. This essay delves into the origins, rules,

cultural significance, and enduring influence of Tóu Hú.

Tóu Hú, which translates to 'Arrow Throwing into a Pot', originated in

China over 2500 years ago during the Western Zhou Dynasty. Initially, it was

a part of the etiquettes practiced at formal banquets among the nobility,

evolving from the ceremonial archery practice where guests would shoot arrows

at a target. However, due to spatial constraints within banquet halls, this

evolved into a more indoor-friendly game where participants would throw arrows

Introduction:

Do you like playing games? Today, I want to introduce a traditional

game from China called Chinese jump rope.It is a fun and exciting game

that has been enjoyed by children for many generations.

Explanation:

Chinese jump rope is played with a long piece of rope that is tied

together at both ends.The rope is usually made of colorful strings or

plastic, and it can be adjustable in length.The game can be played alone

or with friends, and the objective is to jump over the rope as many times

as possible without making any mistakes.

To play the game, one person holds the rope in both hands and

swings it over their head while jumping.The person who is jumping tries

to keep up with the rhythm of the rope and avoid stepping on it.Each

time the person successfully jumps over the rope, they take a step back

2, the way: start the game, first make chairs round (according to the number of minus one
