Something original is something perfec. What do you think of Shanghai? Shanghai is a beautiful city。
以这位考官的话来说,“You will be bored to death!”(你会厌烦到死!)
You must say something original and don’t say “beautiful”all the time。
Shanghai is a great city
So feelings about one;s job must reflect how an individual feels about his or her life as a whole, ...
EducationFrom - Jimmy (Global Education)Technology kept people connected instantly, making the world seems smaller and communicates in one language“English”.While I am putting this essay together, many wonderful memories have been revived. Looking back at my old school days in SA and UK, I am filled with an immense sense of joy and gratitude to the style of British education.I always find myself asking,”How did I do it? What if I was in China?”I really would like to express my deepest gratitude to my parents for taking me abroad.Throughout the years, I am often asked,”How can I help the Chinese student to learn English language naturally and efficiently?”I would not have been able to predict what I could achieve inteaching English, but I would be the best that I could be for all my students. What I have heard is that Chinese education is more about authority, discipline and ruthless competition. Now class begins.Stand up.Good afternoon, Miss Chen.Good afternoon everyone.Sit down, please.Chinese teacher has high expectations on students to reach the goal of getting A or even A+ in almost every subject. In China, the teacher’s authority is absolute. But in Britain I always questioning teachers, challenging teachers in many ways. The Chinese school day is a 12 hour marathon. When it is the time for British school students to head home to their families, the Chineseschool students are having another afternoon meal before heading back to the classroom. After such a long day of lessons, students are expected to knuckle down to two hours of self-study and review what they have learned during the day. They spend most of their time and effort on study. Even if they are not at school, they are on their way to school, which means that they seldom have time for their hobbies. Their life is mostly school life.In Britain, PE is often a chance to relax and have some fun. But Chinese schools, things are a bit different. If you can not pass PE, you can not go to good high school or a good university. Now, PE is part of the national Zhongkao exam. That’s what we called ruthless competitions and Stephen Hawking wouldn’t do very well too.In Britain, what we do in PE is that we encourage students to just compete against themselves, do their best, but I think in China when you put students in a setting like a competition and they have got certain times to achieve, I think the pressure builds, they do start comparing themselves to others and that’s where the tears came from.In Chinese schools, the lessons are just teacher stand at the frontsaying”repeat this”which is OK, but it’s not really going to enthuse. Students are mostly just given notes which they are expected to copy and memorize. Just going to absorb all the information teacher gives us, walk away and get straight As. We don’t really learn by just copying off a board. In British schools, they take a more progressive view. Kids are separated into classes of different abilities. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions and discuss their work. So we can teach to their ability. We don’t tend to show them the practical methods, usually. Because for a scientist, it’s all about trying to find out the method yourself and even though we give them some instructions, they still get it wrong anyway, and that’s what science is all about, getting it wrong and then correcting it, and finding the way to do it.Einstein said that, “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.”。

名人类话题---Describe a celebrity you likeWho he or she is;What the person is famous for;How do you know this person; Why you choose this person to talk aboutNotes: (跟上面题卡相对应写出Outline)Emma Watson/British actressLeading role of Harry Potter for 10 yearsWin awards and appear on the headlines and magazinesR: 1. Never give up study while shooting films2. Give speech in the UN for gender equality烤鸭们一定要善用一分钟准备时间写好提纲,这样表达才会连贯完整,逻辑清楚!加分词伙和表达:Acting skill 演技Exceptionally talented 特别有天分(这里的程度副词exceptionally用得很好)The reason I really admire xxx is ...
(连接句型)It’s inspiring to ...
Make an outstanding model role for...
在此,提供三种可行的part2中的开头句.A.(话题背景)+ There are various (topic), namely, ..., ..., and stuff like that. But the one I'd particularly like to mention today is (your answer). When talking about(话题), it's worth pointing out (your answer). To tell you the truth I don't have much to say on (话题),but to the best of my knowledge, I'd like to talk about (your answer). (适用于自己不太熟知的话题)另外,讲到兴趣爱好类的好处则有通用原因可以借用,譬如Enrich one's knowledge/experienceExpand one's outlook/ broaden one's horizonCultivate one's mindMould one's temperamentKill one's leisure timeRelax oneself/let one's hair down/wind down/ take break from… Release/ relieve one's pressure/ stressRemove one's bad moodMeet one's desire to exploreClean one's mind, touch one's soul, lighten one's heart这些套路句必要时可避免学生千篇一律毫无新意的回答以及词穷的困境。
A Meaning Life - A book gives knowledge, but it is life that gives understanding-By Jimmy What is life all about? Is life all about survival? We never really know how long each of us has on this planet. But our job as a species is to persevere and eliminate anything which may threaten our survival. So what is the biggest threat you can think of? Pollution, disease and natural disasters or war on terror, war on crime, war on drugs and war on cancer, but when do we ever think about our basic life supporting needs? Resources & Happiness……we usually do not have to because luckily for us we have a system whereby the cost of living can be earned. You can gain employment and work for money which of course provides access to food, to water, to shelter. And it is a good thing we have this system, because without money you are as good as dead. But if you are without happiness or if you are depressed and frustrated, for whatever reason, money cannot simply change your feelings. So as I always say that money can only enrich your happiness but does not bring you happiness. Then what is happiness? When we do not understand something that is where fear comes from. We fear what we do not understand; we fight what we do not understand. Most people think money is the cure of suffering or unhappiness, but I think they just merely have a wishful thinking.Ok, I have a very concrete question for you. Which is more important to you…love, money or hope? It is not really a question more of a statement. Now I want to talk about hope. Education is the hope of our future and English education is most popular at the moment and it has been forever, it is increasing every year. That is the rate regardless of religion, color or nationality.English is the dominant business language; many of the world’s top films, books and music are published and produced in English; most of the content produced on the internet is in English. We are going to be obsolete and in fact we are very lucky that if we have been learning English this long, because weget to catch up the opportunity. Time is going away and we are getting old. Do not say: I will learn when I have leisure; you may never have it. If opportunity does not knock, build a door please. I would say that Global Education is my first and best choice to choose, because Global education understands that only the English lesson which is enjoyed can be learned well. So far as I know, all the learners have achievedvery good result from Global Education in Nantong. But on the other side of the coin, the best teacher is time; the best book is the world. At last, remember that a golden key opens all the gates! Motivation is an important factor when it comes to learning a language!。
